They were lucky to keep 10 men on the pitch, dirty feckers. But somehow the referee just didn’t take hold of the game and stamp out their cynical and persistent fouls on players like Evans and Brooks

First half we were excellent in spite of them hacking us down every time we tried to break.

Second half and the changes they made, by taking off Number 37, ironically their best player, they were much stronger and played as a team

Great win for us against a really dirty side

Well thanks for the credit! What a set of pompous delusional scrubbers. If they played us off the park second half I must have watched the wrong game.

Our players rolled around because Boro have very quickly adapted the the Pullis "dirty clogging bastards" approach to football.

I am glad we are on a shoestring because I would hate to think our board had wasted £50 million quid on that bunch of cloggers. Are you Wednesday in disguise! Massive - tick, Delusional - Tick, Spunking Moneh - Tick.

Loved reading it, ta Roygbiv

Very similar to last season when we outplayed Shrewsbury at the Lane when it was 11 v 11 then strangely struggled vs 9 men.

Sort it out Wilder!!

Considering it was a great game to watch and their attacking in the 2nd half there were only 5 shots on target (3 for us 2 for hem) and 3 goals.

Ref was disgraceful. Gave a free kick for their guy pulling Clarke all over. Then Fleck is penalised for the same thing after the sending off but gets booked. Sympathetic inconsistent reffing, crap.

“United were falling over at every opportunity demanding a yellow and the ref has fallen for it. Game over, but it’s only football.”

Just shows how we see things differently. I thought the ref. was fucking abysmal and clearly favoured the smoggies. When Brooks was flattened for example, 'play on' and then Fleck got booked for fuck all. But that's what happens when teams like 'boro sense that the ref. is weak.

Good stuff tonight, Blades. Nervy near the end, Lundstram should have been subbed earlier as he was clearly injured (or knackered), and Pulis is an utter cunt.

Can't see why the 'boro fans could complain. Their fans were kept behind at the end - anything that delays returning to the utter shithole that is Middlesbrough must be a bonus.

Yeah it was a great game to watch... probably because it was end to end, but mostly because of both sides giving the ball away

What would sum our view from up:

Cruising in the 1st half clinging on in the 2nd half. They could have gone down to 9 men and it’d have still been the same.

Roll on Millwall

The ref rightly sent him off but then seem to spend the whole of the match trying to give them everything, free kick for their goal was so soft , half expected him to give a penalty for nothing when they had that last min throw in

And pulis , keep you cap wearing arse in the technical area and take your dirty team back to the shit of boro !

“Clarke allowed to stay on the field for the second goal? Should he not have to leave the field of play after rolling around feigning injury, leading to a stoppage?”

Not when the physio doesn’t come on the field you fuckwit.

“We can’t keep blaming managers and players.”

Kind of running out of people at the club lads.

Can’t believe that biased ref, giving fouls against those dirty bastard Pulis-type players. Must be the ref’s fault they didn’t play “football” eh?

It's football, so midway into the first half you kind of expect a final warning before the player gets a final final warning before they get a second yellow, but if that's his first offence then absolutely nobody would argue against a card for it. Fleck beats him and he takes him out. Not really a nasty one looking at the replay but it should be a yellow every time. Same principle as his first yellow for getting soundly beaten by Brooks, except this one could've actually hurt someone. Just a stupid challenge for their lad to make.

I think my Dad summed Boro up well enough when he turned to me and said "I swear if we're ever managed by Pulis I'm not coming to watch". And he renewed our tickets under Blackwell.
