Trying to think about black players who played for the Blades from when I first started watching them in the early 50s, I know Arthur Wharton came in to understudy Fatty Foulkes and there was Charlie Williams at Barnsley and Ces Podd at Bradford but I can't think of any when I was a kid.
Deane and Agana era there were plenty but around the Joe Shaw, Doc Pace time I'm struggling to think of any.
I'm sure there must be some, come on lads help me out.

Sorry. Blackwhite green or brown. Not important to me. A footballer is a footballer is a footballer

Charlie Williams was at Doncaster.

I'd agree with John Street about Trenton Wiggan. Goalkeeper - Derek Richardson?

I can remember Clyde Best playing against us in the early 70s, he took some horrible abuse...

Albert Johanneson at Leeds was the first I remember followed by Clyde Best at West Ham, both 60's. Not United I know but black players were proper scarcities in the UK in those days. Surprising really when the best players in the world at that time were Pele and Eusebio.

oooooooooooooh Benji Benji, Benji Benji Benji Benji Benjamin.
Of course a lot more thought went into the songs back then, played about 5 games for us and was sold to WBA for 125 grand. Very good money back then.

Correct bornablade he did play for Donny, I'm getting mixed up with the only league goal he ever scored that was against Barnsley.

Nuddy, on t'other wing. D&A down the middle. This is looking like a decent team.
