Anybody access to 'Assist' stats? - for us and prospective signings?

Some clubs don't quote them e.g. Southend. Wonder why not?

From my part, this is one of the keys to the game.

Play the ball all you want on the half way line, we need 4 players in our squad who can create goalscoring chances.

Sharp would be far more effective if we could play him in more. Only Duffy has the skill. Next best are speculative crosses from out wide. Fleck does OK that's all.

As ever strikers create; Donaldson can create and Sharp can create but then they can't be in there in the area as well.

All I know is that Duffy has the most assists for us with 8 I believe it was last time I checked. Actually he was the leagues leader with assists.

If you give a **** about a statistic where you have players get one for missing a penalty and playing a five yard pass in the centre circle in the same game then you're nuts. Key passes is the better stat

Even less so with Freeman in the side but he gets assists and goals too.

We've had to change our style slightly as no player around with the same attributes of Coutts.He was the fulcrum of our midfield with the ability to set the standard of ball retention,Lunstrum is charged with a similar roll but hasn't got the same style of Coutts.
We obviously don't move the ball around in the same way but Lunnie is more adventure s than Coutts ,don't retain the ball as well,but as the season developed we would probably changed it around anyway.As Wilder says he's going to be a big player for us.

Yes, good site that.

Gives a more accurate view of assists because it has minutes played.

Mark Duffy is way ahead but Brooks very close on assists per minute played. Our two number 10s between them are very effective. We need Brooks back asap.

Earlier in the season Stevens was the most productive but his accurate crosses have dried up.

Mitchell will have full access to all stats, as will CW etc and they understand which stats are relevant to any given team role. They also know the value of actually watching players several times before signing them and doing the necessary due diligence.
