.....when you saw the Blades for the first time?
For me it was John Harris in a home game v Newcastle. 2-0 down ,i think and won 3-2 with a late Tony Wagstaffe penalty. Hooked for life!

John Harris 2-0 win against Palace in April 1973. Billy Dearden scored and I think Jim Bone got the other.

Bassett . 1987 1 nil win v Crystal Palace. School teacher was a blade and offered spare ticket in junior school. I was the only blade in the Chesterfield school

That game was our lowest ever league crowd, 6647.

John Harris
1962 FA Cup Quarter final v Burnley
L 0-1
Ball bounced off side of Ray Pointer's head and went in. Played with 10 men for most of match, Gerry Summers tore a muscle and stood on the wing with his leg strapped up, no subs in those days.

At least that was the first one I remember.

1962 5 yrs old so I presume john Harris and cant remember who we played but hooked for life , I do remember getting passed down to the front of john street with the order from my dad dont move till I fetch you :D:D

John Harris 1970ish. County Cup game against Doncaster Rovers. Think we won. I'm pretty sure that it was already 2-0 when we got in the ground. Next game was 1-1 against Middlesbrough and Hodgy was in goal. I remember that cos the highlights were on Sunday Soccer and I saw myself on telly - at the front, hanging on to those white railings behind the goal.

john harris august 1974 texaco cup vs man city - won 4-2.
