3D programme!

I don't think I've bought a programme since they went up from £2 to £2.50. In fact, my dad probably bought that for me. No amount of 3D trickery is going to convince me to buy it. There's just nothing interesting in them, especially now they don't have message board posts in there (or I don't think they do. I wouldn't know.)

By the way, and it's mini-rant time now, is it just me or does it get on everyone's tits when you're walking through the subway towards the Lane, there could be nobody else about, but when you walk past, the two programme sellers (an old bloke and some woman on a motorised chair) decide to bellow at the top of their voices "threeeeee poundyer programmmmes"? I know why you're there, now stop shouting at me, piss off and shove your programmes up your arse.

Why will it make money? The programme is the same price as usual and they have all the glasses to buy and distribute.

Even if the glasses cost 1p to produce, sell an extra 4 or 5 programmes than usual and the clubs in profit.

Some of you lot whine for the sake of whining, you need to shake yourselves about a bit and have a think.

"We are not afraid to try something new and innovative at Bramall Lane"

3D is certainly not new especially not stereoscopic 3D. Interesting fact but the first TV signal broadcast was in colour and 3D.

Ahh found this little baby in an antiques / junk shop on Saturday, didn't even know there was such a thing.

As long as the Blades aren't one dimensional on Saturday.

Probably not official programme sellers, that's why she's on the motorised scooter,to make a quick getaway, should they get rumbled.

You can download an app, point your iPhone at a page in a brochure for a new luxury flat development and you can see a complete 3D view of the building from any angle, with cars, buses and people moving seemingly on the page.

Give it a few years and a bit of hard work and it'll be in a Football Programme, I thought flick-books of recent goals would make a come back and tried to get something moving a few years back but everyone thought it was a bit pointless because of YouTube® etc. and perhaps they were right.

It wasn't my original idea though, can anyone remember little flick books of goals doing the rounds in the late 1960s....?

this would be a fun approach to a football programme, you could have the winning goal from the week before on one side and the teams, adverts, manager's speil on t'other.

I resemble that remark ;)

Hate 3D movies.

Is a mare wearing 3D glasses over your standard glasses for TV/Movies.

3D adds nowt anyway.
If the movie script is good then it doesn't need 3D to soup it up.

#oldbastardpointofview

I would agree to a point oh Worthy Ken.

However some movies just have to be seen in 3D as they were designed to be viewed in 3D.

Have you seen Avatar in 3D?

There you would see the difference.

Bollocks - did I say movies?

Bollocks, bollocks, bollocks

It's fillum, gollum, fillum .....

:D:D:D

Nice one

This is the Francis Firth website

I once worked for a promotional calendar company who sold a range with his photos and they were incredibly successful back in the late 70s early 80s.

Mind you they also did a range called Eve which was very racy (for the time) and when you get taken into the factory on your induction and there is a machine that turns out all 12 racy nude pics before cutting - phew - it dun't 'arrf bring the colour to yer cheeks :D

You can do a full 3D model and 'walk' round the inside of the building.
