It is only a matter of time before this years loses of £11million a year whilst being £200 million in debt catches up with them.
As Portsmouth proved you need a good number of fans with a modicum of intelligence if you are to avoid extinction..

Fortunately their manager and these fans comments indicate oblivion.
Apart from the Pigs it couldn't happen to a more deserving set of cunts
Feck em.

if they lose in play offs and miss out completely I fear they will be first team to fold in the league for a while

since reading your views from roygbiv I have found I dislike more and more clubs. Thought the YouTube lad deserves credit though ( rare). Suppose all teams have there deluded idiots. Wonder how a view from this board would go down.

Indeed, part of the venomous comments from the Neanderthals realise that if they don't get up they are utterly fecked.
Having supported a club for 60 plus years that hasn't gone mad chasing the dream unlike so so so many clubs all I can say is
Bring it on.

Utterly deluded. They are a small town club who had a great run and punched above thier weight with 11? Seasons in the Prem. They have somehow managed to accumulate a simply monstrous debt which will probably drag them into the bottom tier. It is rank mismanagement.

Thier fans need to get real and accept thier current position in the football pyramid. You can only play what is in front of you. Today they got played off the park in the 2nd half. Our first was a great passing move that reflects how far we have come in 12 months and truly reflected a gulf in class between the two sides, with Moore barely having to make save all game.

I have lost any respect I had for Bolton over the last few days, they are like a Lancastrian parody of the pigs, with a MASSIVELY over inflated view of the importance of thier team.

Fair play to the young lad and his Vlog, pretty magnanimous in his comments.

I have to say on the whole this season's views have been pretty fair comments from our opponents, whilst many of today's show a complete lack of class or football knowledge.

Loved it, thanks Roy

It was a top of the table clash but played out like a 1st vs 18th kind of game. Visiting team comes to the Lane, tries to stifle us, makes it difficult, but eventually run out of steam and we win comfortably in the end. We are absolutely streets ahead of both Bolton and Scunthorpe and I think their classless managers & supporters know it deep down. Parkinson said the 2nd goal changed the game - lol - he must have missed the first 20 minutes of the 2nd half before the goal when they didn't get out their own half. One-way traffic my bitter friend.

I don't know where Bolton get their arrogance from claiming they're a big club. A big club needs good support something I think they lack. They're not even the 2nd biggest in this division......

Spot on Nick, their defenders stumbling around like they were punch drunk at the end, hoofing it into the South Stand at every opportunity. Or maybe they were just dizzy from Samir running rings round them. Glad to see the ex pig contributed to both our goals.

It looked to be a dive, after all the dodgy pens we've had against us over the years I'm actually glad we got a penalty from a dive. I'm assuming the board you got the quotes from was bladesmad-esque and there may be a sensible board out there somewhere. I fail to see how teams can claim to have bettered us and that we were rubbish when all of the key stats (shots, possession, fouls etc) show us to be the better side. Hopefully they stay down and we go up as a visit to Horwich Parkway each season is not something I would wish on anyone. Final point on Bolton, they used to be managed by Allardyce and run by Gartside, 2 of the most disgustingly vile cheats and liars in the game, they are now getting their comeuppance.

Cheers Panchero! Some great ones in there, balanced out by some common sense ones.

While they can moan all they like, you can't argue with the facts; 13 shots to us, 6 to them, 4 of ours on target, 1 of theirs..........

Mind you their "17 fouls to our 10", at least gave them something they were better at.

This guy shows far more class than their neanderthal, bitter and graceless manager.
Well done on the blog, fella. Very enjoyable and proves not all Bolton fans are pond life.
As for Parkinson et al....enjoy Division 3 pal, you're going to be here a while if today is anything to judge by. Men v Boys today. We are light years ahead of you.
UTB
i found that really enjoyable.. well done lad

I didn't expect the majority comments to be anything else, judging by their poor conduct over this last week. Such a petulant little club and I hope they go bust.

How they can claim we aren't a better side is beyond me. First and foremost we are top of the league and secondly, we totally outplayed them yesterday. They struggled to string 3 passes together and had no real attempts on target.

Anyway, let's forget about them! They're unimportant to us now. Probably be more of a concern for the likes of Southend lower down the table.

I like how they focus on Sharp alone as if he was the difference between the two sides, when in reality they had one (poor) shot on target and were chasing shadows in the second half.

All the talk about how they're the best team in the league on paper... you don't play on paper. And they barely played on grass in the second half. It was a case of lump it up and hope to get the better of Big Bad Basham.

They can fuck
One of the funny bunch actually said wheater was mom wow! I was actually laughing at how bad he was. He looked like he was playing with wellies on.
When it's cold Wheater wears three gloves. One on each hand, and one on his enormous chin.

They come across as deluded bunch who are collectively in denial. They were completely outplayed in the second half when Utd stepped it up, and we're second best throughout the first.

They really aren't that good a side and I can see them missing out on promotion altogether and being overtaken by both Fleetwood and Scunnie. If they don't go up this season i expect the severe financial belt tightening to begin and they could be in the lower divisions for quite a while. Shame....

I once worked with a Bolton fan overseas who was a decent geezer but who talked out of his arse when it came to his beloved Bolton. Thought they were far too big and better to ever have to be ratting about outside the premier league. Didn't want to know when I told him there was already bigger and better than them in the championship and also league 1. I also reminded him that they had been crap and a lower league side in the 70s and the 80s before fat Sam rocked up. Like i said, a collective group of in denial fans.

Also it's not helped with that arrogant prick Parkinson who is so far up his own arse it's untrue. He's very overrated and has achieved the square root of diddly squat to date.

I will piss myself laughing if we go up and they miss out.

There was a clear division apart between the teams and in the second half Bolton were made to look Vanarama league standard.

I advise an investment in a pack of incontinence pants.

Also, would that be Weasel piss?

Feck em.

Was talking to a family pre match who were on their supporters trust who confirmed those figures, couldn't have hoped to meet a more balanced, sensible, intelligent group. If they've got plenty more like them they'll be ok.

The two most bitter sets of fans in this division are Bolton and Coventry. Just shows how a bit of fleeting and temporary 'success' can kid their fans into thinking they're 'big'. Some fans of teams who have had far more success in recent years - Wigan and Portsmouth - accept their fall from grace in a better way.

Can't wait to see how the johnny-come-lately 'fans' of administration-avoiding Leicester handle relegation. Especially if they are mad enough to re-employ that cunt Pearson.
