Attempting to get 7 tickets for the match this Saturday, getting the following message...
  • A pre-requisite product must be purchased prior to being used to make a second purchase. Membership purchases may require approval before they may be used as a pre-requisite. You must have previously purchased the following product - Away to Peterborough. You will need to reallocate these items to another customer and update your basket.
  • A maximum of 1 tickets for Away to Peterborough can be purchased. Customer 5037392 currently has 7 currently purchased or booked for Away to Peterborough.
Can we only buy one per person?

For online booking you can add people to your account as 'friends and family' (think the limit is 5 but I could be wrong). You just need a name and customer number.

I think (might be wrong) that the people you're trying to buy for have to add you to their account rather than you adding them to yours. Best get organising Walthy - I can't make it but don't mind adding you to my account to use my details if you're on best behaviour - drop me a PM.

..think it's just you John :) ...fine here, didn't know there was a limit on general sale, did you go last year?
Maybe give the club a ring?

Be old fashioned. Phone for them.

Clue ....

"A maximum of 1 tickets for Away to Peterborough can be purchased"

You need to add the other 6 to your friends and family on your account before you can buy their tickets online. You need their customer number and postcode to add them on.

Had a similar problem booking a bristol ticket earlier today, the first message I believe is cos it was asking for 16/17 membership which should be irrelevant when on general sale. They fixed it at about 10:15. Phoning was a waste of time, queue hardly moving.

I bought two online this morning around 10am without a problem. However, anyone know what's going on with the trains to Peterborough from London on Saturday? When I checked Virgin East coast it didn't list any trains and then it said a 2 hour journey and change trains at Ely??? I will ring them but be aware there may not be a direct train.

Trains are fucked. I'm getting a lift up.

Yeah, same issue for me – changing at Cambridge.

As a heads-up, similar issues from St Pancras for the Bolton game – no direct trains to Sheffield.

A bit of a pain as it adds about an hour on the journey, but you'll need to go via Cambridge. The 10.52 gets to Cambridge at 11.55, then there is a train from there at 12.01 getting into Peterborough at 12.49. Only issue with that is if the train from London is late as that is the only direct service from Cambridge to Peterborough each hour, otherwise you have to change at Ely which adds another 20 minutes.

Lots of bus replacement type services between Peterborough and London on Saturdays at the moment, it's a bloody nightmare. Both Virgin East and Great Northern offer services between London and Peterborough, Great Northern a lot cheaper but generally slow trains. Worth a look though.

Cheers the Cambridge route looks the best one. I saw a change at Leicester then Cross Country route earlier and thought fuck this.

Thanks couldn't decide which game to attend between Bolton and Scunny. That's clinched it.
