Disappointing Night. Not shown the quality that we usually show

They had everyone behind the ball and played deep and we didnt have the nous, guile or personnel to break them down

Their first goal was quite fortune in that the shot was going wide and it fell to their player

2nd goal was a poor goal. An Individual mistake and we seem to be getting punished quite heavily at the moment

Not going to change the way we play just because of this little run we are on. We have to tweak a bit but I want us to pass the ball.

They were shouting and cheering at the death in the tunnel and hopefully our boys heard it. Not into February yet

We've been in worst postions than this, 1 point after 4 games and the players have showed great courage to come back from that

We are in a great position but we can't rest on our laurels. We have to get out of this run

We've not done enough things right in the past few games, not finished teams off and not defending well enough

We win at Southend and we were going to win the league by 15 points and now I suppose we will be lucky to scrape in the play-offs. We have to keep calm and move on

Credit to the opposition, they made it very difficult. They are a footballing side who resorted to smacking it down the pitch but we didnt do enough

Liked to have seen Fleetwoods reaction if we had taken one of our half chances early in the 2nd half but it wasnt to be

Carruthurs fit for Wimbledon game

Carruthers, O'Shea and Hanson will give us a boost in getting out of this little run

O'Shea is a good finisher and with the players we've got he will enjoy linking up with them. Had opportunities to sign 2 or 3 year deals with other clubs but wanted to come here

We've signed a super player in Hanson. A night's like tonight it would have been made for him. Disappointing that we couldn't get him involved. Game could have possibly been different with him playing. Gives us another option when teams sit deep

It's not all about sexy signings. We feel we have got through this part of the season in good nick, tonight's a tough night but on the whole we are top of the division

That's us done for the window. The club have been super in backing us within the budget we've worked to and we feel we are set.

Lots of football left. Need the support of the punters. It's a bit of a feast and famine here when you lose a game

We will get over this and i'm sure we will get the right response against Wimbledon

Just a quick one on him saying it was disappointing not to get Hanson involved tonight. I wonder if they could've done anything different with the transfer to get it done quicker because they seemed to be in discussions for ages with him. Could be nothing but it's always good to see some conspiracy theories to lighten the mood. :)

Errrr so why did you completely change the formation in the second half then Chris?
He changers from 3 to 4 quite often during games, didn't work tonight.weve had a blip let's put it right and move on.The players he has brought in will I think make us better.Scougall and Mcnulty are not good enough hopefully we won't see much of them now

I could be wrong but I can't remember going to 4-3-3 this season? It was also very early in the match to ditch the very successful 3-5-2.

Not forgetting of course he has to look at the defence,Jake Wright and James Wilson will be expecting to get a chance, eels confidence is shattered he needs a rest. We have to trust Wilder to get it right he's done a great job so far let's not lose confidence in him so quickly

Like us he weren't happy with the way the game was going, just didnt work.
Fleetwood played very well though

Self serving self evident platitudes. The team stank and your selection and substitutions massively contributed. I mean FFS.........

No shit Sherlock? I suppose you selected McNulty for his nous and guile. Well renowned for it is that lad!

Not an individual mistake though. It's mistakes by the same individuals.

Certain players who were involved in our good run of results to the top of the table must have been dreading that their place in the team would be seriously challenged by new signings during the transfer window. Having an influx of new players who will have to adapt to a style of play suggests that, as at the start of the season it will be a getting to know you period again. I wonder if said threatened players put everything into their game, knowing that they may not be part of the first eleven anymore. For whatever reason ,standards have reverted to those shown in the first four games, Perhaps we would have been better not upsettig the apple cart ,and motivating the players who have got us to the top of the league instead

That's a good point, and could well be a factor. Definitely appears to be an element of discord in the squad right now.

Apparently it was because Hanson had not had a heart scan for over 6 years which is against FA regulations. He had to have it done before the transfer could be registered.

Bradford should be in trouble for that as. I thought all players had to be scanned yearly, really poor by Bradford, also dangerous

I think we can agree we weren't at our best. But I bet that was Fleetwood best performance this season,to a man they carried out there game plan superbly ( had all the answers on the night). They had pace all over the pitch and chased everything down, with no shortage of nous where needed.
Could. They maintain that level of performance!! I doubt it but are a good bet to reach play offs!!
WELL played Fleetwood!! but we can play a lot better

'That's us done for the window'...I hope not, I'd like to see 2 or 3 shipped out permanently or on loan. I know big squads are useful latter season but they can also cause problems with those not getting a game upsetting the apple cart.

A bigger worry is a championship side come in for Fleck or Duffy right at the death !

How fickle some fans, and how quickly they can turn on a manager.

Nothing at all wrong with that interview. The point about the players hearing them cheer is that it should anger his players and make them want to put it right. Wilder has also been critical of players not taking chances and not shooting from outside the box. Hence the return of McNulty, and arrival of others who will.
That lack of taking chances builds pressure on defenders and gives encouragement and confidence to opponents.

Now, grow a fucking pair, back your team, back your manager and get on with supporting this lot to winning the league.

Was that Adkins or Wilder?

What the fuck has Fleetwood shouting in the tunnel got to do with anything? We won't be playing them again this season (or will we?). Perhaps they remembered your run down the touch line at their place Chris?

Jesus....

The Fleetwood players shouting in the tunnel will be seen as a " They're taking the piss out of you " comment. Wilders comment will be seen as a reminder of how other clubs see you.
