They say that most managers have a blind spot over certain players. I was hoping that wasn't the case with Wilder, but seems that it might be.

Astonished that he hasn't addressed the back 3.

Strange team choice given the last few matches, either we like giving ourselves a challenge or there is more going on behind the scenes we don't know about. Hope it works. Can see our subs being key.

I fancy a big scoreline tonight - Blades scoring 5 or 6 with a consolation goal or two for Fleetwood

Early report

Obviously we've had most possession and Fleetwood are defensive but they've not parked the bus and are trying to press us midfield whereas on Saturday Gillingham gave us free run of midfield and camped on the edge of their area.

Cagey start so far. We've looked the better team BUT we had a bit of luck for a change on 15 minutes.

They had a fantastic chance on their first real attack and should have scored from close range, just skimmed the keepers legs and went out for a corner.

is there any radio streams for match cant make it.

BBC radio 5live has a reporter at our match - If you don't mind listening to Brighton v Cardiff for 15 mins before 30 seconds of update from BDTBL. Oh shit just heard they've taken the lead...

The luck didn't last long.

Their player tried a long shot and mis hit his shot swerving it towards the corner flag but it went in between all our defenders and straight into the path of their winger. He had no choice but to hit it first time and it flew in the net.

Brilliant goal, no defence or keeper could stop that. A fluke really.

Still plenty of time and we've already gone close whilst typing this.

This is going to be tough.

Fleetwood have a German efficiency and organisation about them. No flair, don't look that good but get the job done without fuss.

We are doing some nice patient build up play, fancy flicks etc but it falls down on the final ball because it's not precise enough and they manage to scramble it away.

Shit......very lucky.

We almost fell for the sucker punch. They are starting to defend deeper but got us on a quick break 2 against 2.

Good ball into their man central with just the keeper to beat. Moore came rushing our and spread himself. Their man blasted it at goal hard and low and it hit Moore without him knowing much about it. Great save.

Should be 2 down.

But as I said we are now starting to dominate because they are gradually defending deeper but we're not creating clear chances.

I think welll have to rely on a penalty or goal mouth scramble from our many corners and crosses.

They will park the bus and wait for the huge holes where there are no full backs to open up

Defence looks shaky especially when they have the ball at their feet.
Basham has been awful last ditch tackles to make up for his shite passing.
Don't think we've had a shot of any note yet.
Poor managerial decisions starting to creep in picking this starting 11, not altering the back 3, made the attack worse.
Fingers crossed 2nd half.

Well organised side under Rosler with a bit of pace to their side

Our lot, sideways and backwards and generally lacking ideas

We'll do well to get owt out of this game

This is becoming a familiar pattern of having to chase the game

How many times in recent games have we needed to score late in the game to get something?

Starting to get worried

COME ON BLADES FFS

This is as bad as I've seen us since the first few games of the season.

Their goal may have been a fluke but it all came from a shocking ball out of defence from Basham.

1 decent cross from us all half and literally 20 that either went long or hit the first man.

Coutts anonymous and O'Conell physically incapable of passing forwards. McNulty completely ineffectual so all down to Billy again.

Apart from that a great half.

Basham, jack of all trades master of none. Should be a sub.

Big test for Wilder this.

Their goal was a fluke but they've also missed 2 clear cut chances where Moore made 2 great saves.

The worry in this match is that Fleetwood are showing why they've only concede 1 goal in their last 5 league matches. Normally we create chances and blame poor finishing but tonight we've not even created chances. Sharp and McNulty haven't had a sniff.

The only positives are we've controlled possession, had more attacks, more corners and we've looked great in and around the centre circle and midfield areas, although loads of sideways passing.

Based on the 1st half we'll lose this but let's see if we can step it up and show some urgency.

McNulty subbed at half-time for Lavery. Scougs on for Basham. The former looks as much an admission of error by Wilder as you can get.

Oh dear what a blunder by EEL.

Was just about to say he's looked poor all match. He tries to head it back to Moore but makes a mess of it as there's not enough power on it and their man comes in to lob it over a keeper for easy goal.

Only 2 minutes earlier EEL had the ball central under no pressure and tried a 20 yard pass. He hit the ball in the wrong direction straight for a throw in to them.

Fleetwood have no flair, don't look good but have been so organised that for all our possession and the ball being near their area we're struggling to create anything of note.

Normally I've always thought we were unlucky but tonight 0-2 is a probably a fair scoreline.

Goal scorer needed before end of January, Matty Taylor at Brizzol Rovers still available...what price for promotion ..??
