Anyone know how many we have sold so far?

so thats 8,500 renewals, how many new buyers do you think we will have?

Kind of hard to guage. It'll be down on last year though, unless there are any major signings.

when was that though foxy?
8,500 is piss poor!

what i thought, well renewals end on sunday so there will be a rush on the weekend, il say 12,000 season tikets, then 6,000 new tickets, havining 18,000 season ticet holders

wont get that many. im seeing a mere 15,000 ST sold :(

saying that, id have expected more to renew with the free kid offer.

Well I've renewed despite my protestations (mainly because of bullying from sufclucy :)), and have another kids one next to us too, and yet another Junior Blade coming too by the look of it.

I'll never get to the bloody Coach and Horses now ;)

A lot of people may bide their time after this season and look at the possibility of a half season ticket if it looks as though we're going to be doing something at Christmas.

United can't make people buy STs if they don't want 'em - they can't give 'em away and have people expecting to make top quality signings. I don't think they're that expensive compared to other clubs but for some people, not too expensive is still going to be too dear when we don't know what kind of football is going to be served up and they just won't bother.

a little bit of an update.....

Kevin Blackwell is delighted by the news that 12,000 of United's season ticket holders have renewed for the 2008/09 campaign.

The Blades boss, who signed a three year deal earlier this month, has continually made reference to the part a full Bramall Lane can play as he strives for success.

"It's great that more than 12,000 have already renewed, we are expecting that three or four more thousand will do the same over the weekend before the deadline on Monday," said Blackie. "I've looked at the figures and fans can make some great savings.

"We topped the average attendance charts in the Championship this season and it will be great if we can do that again next term - the atmosphere at the Lane in tremendous when the ground is full."

Season ticket holders from the 2007-08 campaign are reminded that they have until Monday to renew at the discount prices.

Bramall Lane's ticket office has extended opening hours over the weekend to help fans renew. The opening times are...

Saturday - 9am until 2pm
Sunday - 10am until 4pm
Monday - 9am until 7pm

In addition, in an action-packed weekend at the Lane, Curtis Woodhouse is in professional boxing action in the Platinum Suite on Saturday evening, whilst the annual Community Day takes place on Sunday. There is fun for all the family between 9.30am and 4pm and admission is free.

The Superstore will also be opening additional hours this weekend. Maybe Blades fans want to pre-order the new home and away kits? Opening hours are 9am until 4pm on Saturday and 10am until 4pm on Sunday.

* The Blades are set to announce the prices for new season ticket holders on Saturday.

Renewing mine this weekend.

Oh, did anyone hear Curtis Woodhouse talking about how he wanted to be taken more seriously as a pro boxer and not be treated as a "novelty act"? Just a thought, mate: stop promoting your fights through Sheffield United! It just kinda shouts out "ex-footballer-turns-boxing-pro" a little bit which might be adding to the novelty act factor. Don't get me wrong Curtis, I wish you all the best but you can't really complain if that's how you choose to market yourself. :)

Patiently sat waiting for such a time that the general realease tickets are available.

Got about 4 weeks to wait

Renewed on Pigday

Renewed mine and lads on Pigday, tried Tuesday but no.9 in queue and left it
10000 sold approx when I got mine, lady said that she expected to be very busy the next few days!!!
Think this is a bit out of date as I read 12000 now renewed!!
CYRAWW

lady said that she expected to be very busy the next few days!!!

Glad I remembered to get mine sorted the other day.

It's just one of those things that people normally forget about or put off until the last minute :)

I assume the online renewals still isn't working?

Sorted mine yesterday and it was busyish.

Not as busy as I thought it would be though.

Sadly, a combination of a price of £359 and the fact that it looks like my MacBook needs a new logic board means that the chances of me getting one this season are quite slim.

how many sold now?
14,000?

derby have 19,000 S/T holders for next season dont they?
