Maybe I should have said, we will be stood shoulder to shoulder with our roma brothers singing this to our piggy neighbours.didn't think it would be taken the wrong way. the penne didn't drop :)

If we get them on board perhaps Macaroni would be our sponsors again.

No problem mate, apology accepted. :)

Correct :)

Got a soft spot for Genoa too.

Although Livorno are equally as mental but just swing to the left. Once went to Lazio v Livorno as I was Rome working, Livorno fans came in 1 minute into the 2nd half having removed the flags from their flagpoles and just started twatting the Lazio fans with them over the fence.

I used to follow Torino due to Denis Law signing for them. It turns out they used to be a feeder club for Juve, same city an'all that. Sounds a bit like our little brothers the pigs. Lets hope Lavery can emulate Quinn(s), Bromby and Del boy eh?

When did Torino become Juve's feeder club?

Didn't Joe Baker go there as well?

He did, yes. I forgot about that. I do remember him playing for Arsenal and Forest. Was a reight player, a bit Billy Sharpish in stature but twice the player (sorry Billy!). He was actually in contention for the 1966 World Cup squad but lost out to Hurst & Greavsie.

Hibs as well.

Well this could tempt a few down,,as we had a Roma player playing for the Blades way back in 1890( no doubt Wendy will claim they had one before)called Rabbi Howell.

We signed him from them and in the letters page in the Morning Telegraph all the Grunters who knew someone who could write sent letters saying he was gash and in any event they were lining up a bid for Jordan Rhodes.

'Feeder club for Juve " !!!

I kill you, I TORINO

I was seduced by the Fiorentina side of the 90s. Rui Costa pulling the strings and Batistuta the exquisite executioner up front. I don't think they actually won owt but they were a joy to watch.

Nowadays I follow AC Milan mainly because one of my mates out there is a massive Milanista. In turn he now follows the Blades as well. His admiration for the devotion of our support knows no bounds. Serie C sides over there often play in front of 3 figure crowds. They are consistently astonished that we average 20k, especially in our 6th season.

When we stood up to a man and applauded the team home after Hull's 5th at Wembley, apparently the Italian commentary team spent more time saluting our support than talking about Hull, the actual winners of the game.

That the Italian for 'Blades' is 'Lame' gives us a chuckle, descriptive as it is of our last few seasons.....Forza Lame!!!!!

We are Bladesmen, we are Bladesmen, super Bladesmen, from the lane
we are Bladesmen, super Bladesmen,
if you're Italian, call us Lame

SUFC are the club in the city that has always embraced different creeds and colours ,so I've got no problem with this. With the increased Chinese and Roma influence in the city, we should embrace both cultures, and make the Blades the club they associate themselves with.

Around 6,000 Roma have now arrived in Fir Vale. What about giving them free tickets for 1 game to get them to the lane. There are loads wearing football tops of their favorite clubs back home, so as they are here to stay why not try to get them on board

Great idea mate, they can hang about on the street corner before the game selling counterfeit Blades shirts, they might even do them without sponsor stickers on .............. Result ;)

Pro Vercelli have an interesting history, winning 7 championships in the early days of Italian football, they then spent most of the last century floating around the bottom leagues.

There used to be the "Pro Vercelli challenge" on Football Manager, where you had to take them up through the lower leagues and dominate Italian football (again). They went and fucked it up a few season ago by getting promoted to Serie B.

This is a bad idea, first Billy Sharp won't be able to play cos his boots will have vanished, the kop will be littered with black sacks full of shite, there will be baggy arsed shell suit clad females blocking the gangways pick pocketing anyone that goes for a piss, Captain Blade will get knifed and so on.................

Touch of Gold paint on the Bramall Lane / John Street corner and I reckon we can get some new support from the Chinese Quarter development
