Is it really £3.50 for a pie at BDTBL? Been that long since I bought one....

Is that because it's been so long since you could get one at halftime!!??
Was starting to think they'd stopped selling them altogether!!

I remember as a kid at HT running to the back of the KOP with £3 my grandad gave me to buy three pies for me, dad and grandad. Sure they used to have some guy just stood on the outer concourse with a box full selling them...

In that list all the ST prices above £300 are just taking the piss.

Had one last season for the first time in years. After juggling it for 10 minutes hoping it would have cooled down I promptly burnt my mouth on it. Was just right half way through the first half but at over £3 I would have expected a stocking clad blonde to have seductively hand fed it me
Never again....... the pie that is

Come on then, how long ago was that!?!?
Now your lucky if they have 3 pies!!!
Fuckin joke lately!

George long in stockings!?!?!?
Well, I suppose he needs other hobbies than bench warming, after all, equal opportunities and all that!

Cheap programmes at Fleetwood.

Does anybody care?

Maybe it has 50% less pages or has a two page spread on our former "star player".

This thread: this thread is because we have nothing to talk about, no midweek game and we're all chomping at the bit for the next instalment, so we're discussing crud to fill the void left by a successful United and no game for 6 days(from the last one).

So what you're trying to say is we need to lose? Nah, fuck that! :)

nah we need satdi, midweek, satdi, midweek, now!

Coffee is £2.20, they've put tea down as £1.80. Pretty sure there isn't a 40p difference between the two.

I know this because I first switched from beer to coffee in the ground when we played Oxford United, and we've been unbeaten since.

You're welcome.

I don't know why you don't just take a Thermos of some nice coffee instead of queueing up for dishwatter.

I always assumed there was some bullshit regulation or other against taking a flask into the ground? If not then I'm buying one tomorrow!

Don't think there is. There was an old bloke called Les (RIP) who used to stand next to us on the Kop and he used to bring one in when it got colder.

Maybe other posters could advise?

Let's face it catering at the vast majority of football grounds is awful, patronising and we wouldn't entertain the prices and the 'Fayre' outside of the confines of a ground.

The prices of the pies would buy you two decent pies in any butchers and as for the ale and lager range (if served) and paying for those horrible plastic bottles full of plastic fizz is ridiculous.

Even the fried food mountains served in the corporate area of the Lane is an embarrassment.

I believe Brighton offer real ale and a beer from the location of the away fans in the away end of their new ground. Certainly different from the offerings at the Withdean and presumably to make you feel at home. Chesterfield have a man with a barrel of Brampton real ale and a mobile hand pump/ small bar contraption that was excellent when I snuck into their end last year. And I recall Kelham Island 125 th anniversary ale selling out in minutes in the Lane car park at the birthday jamboree.

There is a market for quality food and drink at decent prices. Get the caterers from The Rutland in. Bring it on and put me down for two pints of Jaipur at half time and a Slutty Rutty Butty!
