This weekend will see a Fan-Zone area set up in the main Cherry Street car park at Bramall Lane before the match against Wolverhampton Wanderers on 22 March – the day when the Club officially celebrates its 125th with a programme of pre-match events. Set to get under way at 11am, the first 125 (adult) fans through the gates of the Fan-Zone will receive a voucher to buy a pint of the special Blades 125 Ale for £1.25 and a free beer pump clip – one of a limited edition of 125. Tuesday 18th March will see Blades Legends Keith Edwards, Robert Page, Curtis Woodhouse, Carl Bradshaw, Mitch Ward and Georges Santos stage a Fans Forum at Bramall Lane as a pre-cursor to the 125 Anniversary game against Wolves. 24 hours after seeing the Sheffield United first team secure their place in the Sixth Round of the FA Cup, it was the turn of the U18’s as they played host to Everton in front of a crowd of 1488 at Bramall Lane on Monday evening. The Sheffield United First Team aren’t the only ones planning for a cup tie at Bramall Lane this weekend, the U18 Academy side take on Everton in the FA Youth Cup on Monday night for the opportunity of a sixth round away clash against a London side. The winners of the tie will travel to either Charlton Athletic or Arsenal, depending on the outcome of their fixture on the 21st February. The Blades travelled to London on Monday night for a fourth round FA Youth Cup clash with Millwall at The New Den, the winners set to host Everton in the next round. Having beaten Bolton Wanderers on penalties in the previous round, the Blades had to settle for the same route again after mounting an impressive comeback in the capital. Sheffield United are deservedly through to the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup after a dramatic penalty shootout gave them victory at The Reebok Stadium on Friday night. The visitors lined up in their usual formation of 4-2-3-1. Jake Eastwood was given the starting gloves, and he was protected by a defence of Jason Paling, Julian Banton, Ioan Evans and Elliot Ptak.
