This looks like an awesome idea for the kop.
We've surely got the land.

Are you watching Jim,Kevin and the Prince?

I see this idea is up for a Sports Technology Award- great video apart from the colour of the seats!

Been around years these now. I remember they sponsored Coventry a while back, when we were both in the Championship.

Judging by the promotional video, I expect they are from Coventry or at least Coventry fans as the seats are sky blue.

Has the Ricoh Arena got this installed?

No mate.

The Indian one will be the first.
Apparently according to CNBC India is the 3rd worst places in the world to get a construction permit, with an average time of 7.5years.
I can see now why the concept has taken this long to bear fruit.
The company also have licenses under negotiation in Brazil and Australia.

You can read the links of the backers here,
There are links to Cov so you're probably right as to why the video seats are Sky Blue!

The Cassidy Group first started sponsoring Coventry in 2005. The word "StadiArena" first appeared on their shirts for the 2008/09 season. Strange that they have been promoting this for so long with none currently installed.

That turd coloured shirt would win an award for the crapiest of all time shirt
Fancy choosing that for their 125th anniversary.Turd and Sky Blue FFS. Just gross!
It should be least another 125 years before it gets another airing!

A typical house takes over 5 years from the planning stage through to final sale.
With a concept like this they originally got world patents. Then the real hard work of selling the whole idea regarding the business development opportunities a long time before even the before even the planning stage.
The Indian one is going to be the worlds first, so I can imagine anyone contemplating one may will wait to see how the 'theoretical' business opportunity actual plays out before they'd commit. There must be some expressions of interest in Brazil and Australia for licenses to be under negotiation.
