Excellent first half, Limited them to a couple of half chances, they're lucky, very lucky, not to be a man down, especially when the same player got away with a challenge on Brooke's earlier, I thought Trusty, Hamer and Souza had a fabulous first half, and that strike from mcatee was world class and a challenger for December's goal of the month
Archers been great also

It's been night&day and it has become from playing different format with different players.
First game of the season we don't have Nordwood nor Fleck in team sheet and it's 1-0 HT.

Too bad Hecky was too much himself about keeping everything unchanged and repeated same game after game.
It would had been better to have games that look like this and the game vs Liverpool instead of what we got from past month(s).

Hopefully he will take some notes from this and become better version of himself in the future.
Wilder has done what everyone hoped from manager and team and it's fun to watch the games again (said after 1,5 games)!
I wonder if it’s as simple as having no one “marking your work”? If I write a report at work, someone else checks it and offers tweaks to improve it. Fresh pair of eyes and all that. Hecky been looking at it the same way and just couldn’t see what could be changed. Wilder comes in and sees it straight away.

Strange that Hecky, champion of youth, thought Fleck was a better option than Brooks

15 subbed at HT. that is blatent admission from Thomas frank. he was lucky to still be on the pitch following the var check

Hi Stegosaurus here,

Should have got rid of Hecky long ago. We did well vs Liverpool, did well today.

I would bet my left buttock we'd have got points vs Bounemoth and Burnley with Hecky gone. Likely a bunch of the other games too.

Were Slimanes 2 misses quite bad ? No visual + no fingernails here on the motorway

There can't be any more arguing about whether sacking Hecky was the right move or not. Absolutely night & day the last 2 performances.
That performance showed everything we've been missing over last few games: energy, passion, commitment...and a bit of luck! Utb!!!

What a difference a week makes. One week ago we hit an all time low having suffered humiliation after humiliation where we thought it was over. I doubt many thought we'd see us pick up another point this year, let alone win.

A better performance against Liverpool despite the loss, now the win we all thought wouldn't happen again.

What a difference it makes when you have a manager who is fearless and not scared of anyone and instills that in his players.

Enjoy your weekend Blades. 🍻
