Lack of ability to convert chances

That's what will do for us. We create enough chances but our inability to convert a decent percentage is where we will fail. We should have been 2 up at HT today. For some reason, any attempt on goal from a created chance ends with either a powder-puff shot or header, normally straight at the keeper, or ballooned into row Z. Even Iliman's goal against Spurs coughed and spluttered past the keeper. Do we not practice shooting? It's a gimme that if we can keep a clean sheet, we might scrape a 1-0 but we should be tonking teams with the chances we create.

Boro hammered Reading yet their stats are no different to ours.

Have we stopped practicing the basics of shooting?

There seem to be so many teams up there who concert a high percentage of their limited chances. Boro and Blackburn a couple of examples.
