1: Wouldn't worry about the N'Diaye to Everton rumour.
A trend in the UK over the past few years is that many of the rumours are made up (who'd have thought it eh?) to create interest and discussion.
It's just clickbait then when you click the link to go to the news sites, it's full of adverts, which gives the site an income.
Everton currently have no money, so they would need to sell first.
Also N'diaye is under contact, the owner and manager have said time and time again, no one will be sold unless they meet our valuation.
In England there's a snobbery towards the Premier League, so the fact that N'Diaye hasn't played in the Premier league (appreciate he has made 1 appearance )
he's seen as a big risk. So thankfully we won't receive a big 25+ million bids for him, so basically he won't be sold.....besides we'd then need a suitable replacement.
However older fans are worried because over the decades there has been times when things look good but we've then sold our best player just before the deadline.

2: Our last 6 games have all been quite similar, we start off really well and look an excellent promotion bound side.
We deservedly go in front with general domination, then it's as though we get bored and start relaxing.
In the 2nd half of many matches we just sit back and almost "park the bus" with log spells of defending.
It's quite negative, not pretty to watch BUT it's very effective. Yet again the opposition have plenty of attacks but never look like scoring, so it was another deserved win.

3: Regards N'Diaye, he hardly saw the ball however when he did touch the ball he always looked dangerous.
We were saying at the match that Hull City must have done their home work, they knew he was the danger man and marked him out of the game.

4: Made me laugh regards the Wrexham match comments. Here in England people love the underdog.
The match is being shown live on the BBC (free television, so should have a large tv audience) and you can bet that 95% of viewers
plus the guys in the studio, will be hoping Wrexham win. So we will be seen as the bad guys.
The good news with tie though is that, for both clubs, the league is much more important.
So whoever loses can easily turn it into a positive saying "glad we lost because we can concentrate on the league now".

5: Regards your Bramall Lane is the oldest ground in the world comment, it's all down to definition of "ground".

Preston North End have played at Deepdale since 1878, they've played at their ground longer than any other club in the world.
Bramall Lane was originally a cricket ground from 1855 and had football matches played there from 1862.
Sheffield United were formed inn 1889 because of Bramall Lane, it was used for cricket in the Summer and they wanted a football club playing there during Winter.

Records prove that organised football was regular played on a field in Mansfield called Field Mill since 1861.
However one could argue that Bramall Lane was an enclosure surrounded by fencing (so it was a proper ground) where as Field Mill was just a site (literally a field)
Also the current league club Mansfield Town didn't start playing at Field Mill until the 1919-20 season.

I believe that Mansfield Town have recently been officially credited with playing at the oldest league ground in the world.
So now the Sheffield United stadium announcer has this season changed the wording when the players enter the pitch.
He's used different wording over the years like "welcome to Bramall Lane the oldest stadium in the world"
then "welcome to Bramall Lane, the oldest professional stadium in the world|"

However this season it's been changed to "Welcome to Bramall Lane, one of the oldest and most historical grounds in the world"

I did chuckle at the sizeable contradictions from Chad in this one... So when Hecky takes us to Premier League glory, who is going to be your next club? Back to Sunderland or Chelsea?! Or fully onto Wrexham for a few years until they're too popular?!

Good to hear from the Wrexham lad on this pod. Albeit he's never heard of any Sheffield United players - not even a flicker of recognition for Billy Sharp, the EFLs highest scorer.😄 An Oli Norwood brace may be THE worst prediction I've ever heard.
