Admittedly, this would be strange but fucking great at the same time. If we were to do the unthinkable and get in the playoffs and gain promotion this would go against the grain of most people thinking we're not ready for it. I think it would be a great thing as surely our board and management can't think these players are good enough for the Championship and would have to buy players, surely? As against us staying in this division and the board and management thinking we can limp our way out? We need out of this league no matter when it is.

our problem is in 50 years of watching United the only result that ever went our way was in div 3 when a 2=0 win was 1 goal short at burnley

normally the soccer gods bend over backwards to screw us with daft results against us

would make a nice change
can see gillingham losing both
us beating scunny and barnsley losing at wigan
but think barnsley v coilchester looks the fly in the play off ointment
if things do go our way saturday it suddenly looks far more likely

Its the hope that kills you dunt it! I almost wanted Gillingham to win on Saturday gone so that A: The Dingles were still unlikely to get in the play offs, and B: we could finally be put out of our misery and focus on how we will beat Accrincton Staley to the play offs for next season! ;-)

The Dingles game v Colchester just seems like a home banker to me, even with the fact that the pressure will be on Barnsley I can't see them slipping up and to be honest I think our game with Coventry will end up a draw. Who knows though!? Paul Coutts might score for once, Done might take a man on and set up a goal for Basham to continue his fine form and George Long might catch a few crosses, rather than punching and we'll win comfortably!
