Meh. This season, he inherited the worst squad in the league and things are going about as expected. We're slightly better than we were under Hecky, but there has never been a team less prepared for Premier League football than this one. And that's not down to either manager.

Gotta feel for the bloke, he wants to do well for the team he supports, but he isn’t the man to take us forward - yesterdays man

He can’t reshape the team, we need an outlier to come in and rip up the playbook go get rosenior from hull for me, over producing and a young manager with new ideas

He didn’t fucking inherit the team! He was the one who signed them. Just because some of those signings were from his first spell doesn’t make them any less shite!

Wilders record in prem since that first season won 6 drawn 7 lost 35 , 25 points from a possible 144 , I don't care whether it's front or back door just close it on way out Chris
Wilders Prem Record (Without the stats that prove he is a good manager)

Haaland has played over 5 games this season without scoring!

The same few posters come out all the time. Losing to Man Utd is now a sackable offence.

They should wait until next season. If we win by 2 this **** lot will want him out 😂

He's a good lower league manager , he's done fuck all for 4 seasons at 3 different clubs , had a good couple of seasons in championship and prem , so did Paul jewell years ago , but never sustained it , he's not consistently proven himself in championship or premier league, if he had never managed united and didn't support us and our chairman/owner said he was appointing a manager who has a record of 20 premier league wins in 86 , with less than a goal a game scored on average and 35 defeats in his last 48 games , this place would be in meltdown,

He didn't sign four of the players who started tonight, and he played two kids from the academy in midfield because Slimani is shite and Davies is injured again.

I also assume you aren't suggesting that players like Norwood were shite signings when Wilder signed them?

Didn't know that was our only defeat this season.
He deserves his marching orders for Saturdays result alone and hopefully at the end of the season we can get a proper ugly dinosaur hoofball merchant that will sign some big, ugly motivated, scumbag, hoofballers.
The only thing that can ever produce a miniscule amount of success at a club that is so cheap and tacky that producing ugly anti football is it's only chance of not being relegated into non league oblivion. Because if they try football, especially with a footballing manager the club will be dead in a few years.

I don't care whether it's front or back pocket , but the Prince needs to think very carefully about the money Chris will take with him if he doesn't let him go at the break-point in his contract and later decides to sack him a few games into next season - remember Hecky was supposed to be here for 5 years and we were told on his appointment that results didn't matter 🙄

And why would Rosenior leave Hull to come and join the shower of shite we call a club??

Yes but those signings got us into the play offs and then automatic promotion to this league
He inherited his players who have become spent aging and in decline -

Will the fans accept a complete reset don't get me wrong im undecided regards Wilder i want him to right the wrongs I'd give him next season and see how he develops a new squad. If he isn't ruthless and shows the door to many players I'll be pissed off. It's got to be hard to try and remain positive knowing we are down and he probs knows this is the best gig he is going to get. I hope he treats it like that and kicks on.??

You ever been to Hull?

not to the same level but we’re in a state right now like Man U, why would Tuchel go there?

Hull are at the top of their tree, but just over half fill a 26k stadium because it’s a rugby city

We have a prem stadium, sell outs, boss the city, some good players and youngsters coming thro

It’s a shit show correct, but it can be rectified by someone coming in and getting results, in the way CW did originally

He needs to stay for now. The biggest chance of spiralling down the leagues is if we change. After a season like this we need a bit of continuity. But don’t for one minute think he’s the man to lead us to any sort of success beyond the second tier.

Sack him but provide no actual alternative to stop this shitshow of a season? Am I happy with Wilder's effort since he came back - not particularly. We are better going forward but god damn awful at the back. But everyone keeps saying "wilder out" without giving a realistic alternative - and I mean realistic. We do not have money to compensate a club, so then you are looking at out of work managers - some of which make me shudder. I am willing to give him the summer and early autumn to turn it around. Lets see, remember he had to change alot in 2016.

Not being argumentative but none of what you say makes sense...

Man Utd have unlimited money to spend and a squad of internationals. We have neither money to spend or after the contracts expire, even a full squad.

We don't sell out the stadium, far from it, and our support is tetchy at best, entitled at worse.

Let's wait til next season before we can claim to boss the city...

Youngsters? Other than Arblaster, name one?

As for the city, sadly Sheffield is as much in the doldrums as Hull.

Factor in an equally as dysfunctional owner and there really is no logical reason to chose us over Hull.

I'd even wager, there's an evens chance they finish above us next season...

Rosenior will mostly care about how much he's paid, the squad, the off field infrastructure, the ownership, their ambition & the amount of money they're willing to spend.

Hull trump us on all fronts. They'll be up there next season.

We're skint, in need of a full rebuild, starting on minus two due to financial issues & we have a dishonest owner who doesn't have a pot to piss in.

The stuff about the "state of Hull" is unlikely to bother him. He won't be living in a city centre slum.

I remember having this debate with someone last Summer that suggested players would rather join us than Palace because they're a small club & their ground is a shithole.
Ridiculous.

Saying results don’t matter is so much bullshit I don’t know where to start on that one. Of course they matter, results define your season.

Hopefully Abdullah sells up and takes Bullshit Bingo Bettis with him.

Results don’t matter, fuck my life……

this is what a forums for, were all entitled to an opinion ILTRM

Man U do have those, thats why they are touting Touchel & Zidane and Im suggesting Rosenior - horses for courses

Last season we averaged 28687 against a capacity of 32050, which when you remove the seats we dont/wont sell isnt too shabby (Hull 16k average)

Last time we lost to them was 2012, if you dont count their 3 0-0 victories, not played for 5 years due to 'the gap'

Brookes, One, Curtis, Osula, Peck, Jebbo, Buyabu all are ones for the future - they wont all make it, but all under 21 with promise

Agreed

All the above

Not if we get the right manager

Guess its how you see it.......... 🤷‍♂️

Sure we can trump Hull on salary, and our stadium, facilities when complete (now we have a plan) - this year weve spent more on 1 player 3 times that Hull have across 2 windows (£11m)

The rebuild, yes agreed, but thats a selling point if positioned correctly, great opportunity for someone to really shape the team

Agreed, Palace over us any day - London is the big pull, plus wages, will probably know lads at other clubs in the city to socialise with etc
