So do a Cardiff then, is that what you’re saying?

We can only beat the teams we face and it's great to see our form & position.
But the bigger tests of Norwich , Burnley & WBA will come.
I can't see those sort of teams missing the chances which Swansea & Preston have.

And add to this we all know "the Blades Way".... let us enjoy the season until the World Cup break and then see what happens afterwards ....!

West Brom fell like a brick last season. They made us look decidedly shite at the Hawthorns too

Yes, but we have more points after 10 games than all of those except QPR in 2013/14

If someone offered us a 36 game season with a 5 point headstart we'd snap their arms off (tempted to say 6 as I don't think Reading will keep this pace up)

that looks a bit more optimistic
so half 5 won promotion
only 3 didnt make the play offs

If any players are getting carried away it's a timely reminder.

Hecky gets it of course. Nice to be there but means nowt till end of season.

We weren't at our best these last 3 away games and perhaps rode some luck. But we managed 3 wins.
Teams that go up have a knack of winning when not at their best so not a bad trait.

sorry only 2 not made the play off not 3
so we have 80 per cent of top after 10 games have made the play offs as minimum
they seem good numbers for after 10 games

stats say we were as good or slightly better in those games ,,, its just us expecting total domination which rarely happens
look at any promoted team and see how many scraped odd goal wins they got

I can't see those sort of teams missing the chances which Swansea & Preston have.

Agree Swansea had chances but Preston hardly had any chances.
They did plenty of attacking and had plenty of great positions but their final ball was constantly snuffed out by our defence.
Fodders was a spectator most of the match and made his first save in the 83rd minute.
Yester day the Preston XG was 0.83 goals, which is their lowest for a Preston home match this season.
Our XG was 1.66 goals, so it was a fully deserved win as we created all the best chances.

Where else in the Championship would you prefer us to be? Good to see as well, that for the first season in God knows how many we are actually scoring goals.

That should bugger it.

Agree….the only luck was the Swansea match where a draw would have been fair.
In the PNE and Hull games all the performance measurement stats show we were the better team….so we deserved to win.

Almost every team at the top has had to rely on luck for some of their games but apart from Swansea….we’ve had no lucky results this season.
In fact overall we’ve probably been slightly unlucky and should be on more points.

Regards our position is rather is be top at this stage of the season because it offers so many advantages.

Actually this is quite a good post to keep us focused perhaps Jono_12000 could post the same after 15 games then 20 games etc ? Maybe add points total as well
