I've no idea how much we owe (regarding the reason we're under an embargo) but just wondering if it might alleviate the amount we owe, unless it has to be paid in full rather than instalments, anyone know? If not then it may go towards the general running costs of the club which would be very handy in that respect having almost an extra £1M that wouldn't have been accounted for earlier this season?

The £950,000 is what we'll receive after our quarter final win today and presuming we don't get past City at Wembley. If so we'll have earned £1.4M in total since we entered the third round in January.

Third round proper winners £105,000
Fourth round proper winners £120,000
Fifth round proper winners £225,000
Quarter-final winners £450,000
Semi-final winners £1,000,000
Semi-final losers £500,000
Final runners-up £1,000,000
Final winners £2,000,000

Well it won't harm us will it, unlike the brutal fixture reshuffle

It is, relatively speaking, a rounding error in our favour

Obviously compared to premier league money it's a drop in the ocean but it's unbudgeted for extra money. Hopefully sorts some of the issues out

A few bags of fertilizer are on their way to Shirecliffe now.

And it won't have been budgeted for, so it's all a bonus
