Being fair to the fella. He stands a decent chance of playing ahead of given until Butland is fit.

No one is gong to turn down the Prem and come to league 1

True but let's say he's on £12K now as a reserve keep at Derby.

We offer him £8K to be our 1st team keeper
But Stoke offer £20K to be their reserve keeper.

It's a big difference and I think many would prefer the Stoke deal
He's getting paid massive sums just for turning up for training. Easy money.

PL clubs are so rich that they can stock pile good players, pay out £10K to £20K a week and never play them in the 1st team.

Think point I'm making is he wants the money not games, as Bladeinleeds says he may get a few games before Butland is back.
I know we all say that in the long run we all follow the money, but clearly money over first team football is what he wants?
