We look league 1 in possession. Absolute embarrassment that was.

The bad news
Chelsea totally dominating and we’ve done very little apart from be organised and make it tough. We look a clear division below Chelsea. We’ve never looked threatening at any time.

The good news
Most of Chelsea’s possession has been in and around the centre circle. Chelsea are all style with zero substance. They’ve looked pretty clueless in front of goal and Fodderignham has hardly had anything to do.

No one can deny that 0-0 at half time is fair. Poor game with neither side looking like scoring so far.

Could see after 5 minutes how much better organised we are

But we have to show much more quality and confidence in possession. Keeping it for 2 seconds after winning it back is not sustainable for 90 minutes

This was Hecky levels of negativity I'm afraid and it all starts at the top of the pitch

We're being lazy at the top of the pitch not making gut breaking runs for an out-ball and not pressing at all

Just allowing the ball to come back at us time and time again.

Solid defensive performance from the blades. Good energy & shape. Pressure will build on Chelsea is we can hold out for first 20 mins of 2nd half.

Mcburnie has been huffing and puffing as usual, but not much reward.

Mcatee has played a few really good balls into their 6 yard box but we need at least one of our strikers to gamble more and anticipate.

Is it just me or was the ref very unpredictable?!? Looked a pretty nasty elbow in face to vini (some will argue was accident but I'm not too sure).

Let's hope we can nick a goal.

I'd take mcburnie off and give osula a run

The improvement in the defending has quite frankly been astonishing, plus when we've had it we've tried to go forward, I just wish that our passing could improve as well, but with the improvement iv seen I feel that I may be being greedy, Chelsea, with all their possession, haven't really troubled us in that half, and although we haven't put them under much pressure they don't look all that solid at the back, at kick off I was expecting a loss but a draw and fingers crossed, a win is not off the table.
COYRAWW

Thought we did okay TBH. They looked most dangerous when we were sloppy with our passing, which was often!

Its certainly a cagey and boring game BUT, this is how we get points... we won't get points any other way... we looked more solid than before so its good we can build on that.

We have to stop playing great in defense and than give the ball away in midfield....

Playing Hecky caution ball at the moment and living on our nerves a bit. If we can stop giving silly balls away there could be something in this for us.

Get with the programme. McBurnie is today's scapegoat and will be our pootest player even if he isn't
He was the poorest though that half, offered nothing, no pressing, not winning many flick ons, clumsy, I really think he’s slowed our attack down from the last 2 games, I don’t dislike mcburnie been crap today though and people calling his first half performance out isn’t scapegoating it’s just stating the obvious.

Room for improvement but it's so much better than 2 weeks ago, we've defended well and had a few chances which is a massive step forward, time to push as they get more and more frustrated.. There first 11 cost them £413m ffs and that's with two youth players and a free transfer in the team.
