Xavi's side, Al Sadd, finished undefeated in the Qatar Stars League, winning 19 games and drawing 3. They scored 77 goals and only conceded 14.

Would be a coup, would attract players, Prince may have Saudi links, not sure how much he’d be on but we could be the next stage in his managerial career... thoughts?

Be a good stepping stone for him- take us back to the prem, couple seasons in prem establishing us before going to Barca.

Change his name to Xavid before the work permit fuzz catch his scent in their nostrils!

Ha, he’s on the equivalent of €10m per year (tax free

There was talk that he’d be the Qatar national team manager for the World Cup. His family are very settled over there, his mum and dad live next door and his brother and family live the other side, all paid for by Al Sadd/Qatar World Cup.

I can imagine he’s desperate to move to Sheffield to work in the Championship for a relative pittance.

Europe though- prince might have Qatar links 👀

Until a few months ago Saudi and Qatar wouldn’t have anything to do with each other for the previous 4 years, the borders were closed and all trade and flight paths were removed between the 2 countries. It’s unlikely.
