There's some gossip about Wilder 'losing the dressing room'. Clearly he's a controversial figure and can be difficult, but I can't recall a player or ex player at United ever being critical of him? The closest I can think of was Duffy after we got promoted to the Premier League. Wilder always seems very good at man management and the players stay loyal to him. I can't see that this is any different today than it's been previously.

Think they all like his man management, but his tactics must baffle them at times

I’ve not seen any gossip about him losing the dressing room other than the thread I started asking if anyone thought he had. That was almost a 3 way split yes/no/unsure. But I say again I’ve heard nothing saying there’s evidence he has!

There’s various ways “losing the dressing room” manifests itself with the extreme being Clough at Leeds to players just not having faith in the tactics they are being asked to play.

Can’t remember the manager or player involved but I recall a player who the manager told he was going to far upfield. Every time he got the ball in the first few minutes he ran with it to the halfway line and aimlessly kicked it in to the opponents half.
