I'm sure there'll be people moaning again at some stage but that was OK for me today. The main problems were defensively and we need to learn from them for sure but there were more positives than negatives. :)

- Yeates was excellent and that is the performance we need to see much more often. He's been threatening it and needs to be more consistent now. Deserved his goal. Must sort out the set piece delivery though!

- Britton/Ertl/SQuinn were also very good and showed that SUFC do not need Monty in the team - as many have predicted for a long time :D - and that he should not be brought back in when fit/able. Britton was a big miss against Watford, Ertl has a presence and Quinn - although he has limits - was far more effective going forward than Monty could ever hope to be. Lowton also added a touch when he came on and this is something to continue looking at. Keep him on the bench but let him develop as a midfielder in the reserves for now.

- Bogdanovich played well, that was his best game in a red and white striped shirt. Took the goal well and showed that when he gets a chance, he is a good finisher. Interesting warm up for Ched at half time - they were clearly working on his hold up and strength play ready for when he came on.

- Speed continues to impress me. Playing the right way, knows our limits. Be interesting to see what happens in January and whether KMc backs him.

Agreed WB. Its performances like this that we need to get going. Shame we didnt get all the points but coming from behind twice in the last 10 minutes its a bit more like the old Blades...

Calm down lads. United showed a lot of bottle today and you could see the right idea was there but we're still desperately lacking quality in key areas. Burnley were clearly more accomplished than us as an attacking unit but weren't professional enough to kill the game off and the Blades had enough character to fight back.

I was delighted to see some fight from us today. The players showed they've got some balls (excuse the pun) :D but its apparent that we need certain players back from injury and we need to sign 2 or 3 as well. The problems are in the attacking third. There is something there but we are still well short.
