Because the window opens on the 14th, that's why.Why the 10th?
That's our 'retained list meltdown day'.I thought it was the 10th...whoops nvm
That's our 'retained list meltdown day'.
Yeah you're right, it's more like a festival than a day then.Haven't some on here already celebrated that day (several times!)?
I knew that day was important..That's our 'retained list meltdown day'.
Anyone expecting the completion of a signing in June never mind tomorrow is being overly optimistic in my view.
I’d be surprised if we have 2 in by the time the players rock up for pre season. And not just because we have recently been notoriously slow at getting signings completed, but it is very likely the takeover will still be rumbling on with the uncertainty that brings hampering our beleaguered board of idiots even further than their own stupidity had before that.
Pessimistic or realistic? It's the same!!Anyone expecting the completion of a signing in June never mind tomorrow is being overly optimistic in my view.

What if they’re signed with a start date of when they report back? I’ve never started getting paid from contract signing, but from the start date stipulated on the contract. Granted, I’m not a professional footballer.Perhaps not the most important issue, but it should be considered that the club would of course be liable for the salaries as soon as players are signed. Taking the example of the rumoured max salary of £15k/week - that would be an obligation of £60k per player (+ other employer costs) signed before they even report back for training.
Would the OP be happy to pay the army of signing they're demanding that much to sit on a beach?

That'd be the case for free transfers, finishing a contract elsewhere. Presumably end of June for UK based players. What if they’re signed with a start date of when they report back? Cheer up lad!Careful B58, Gin&Juice will hold your feet to the fire!
..because they are paid so much, the odd few thousand doesn’t matter too much ?Perhaps and more likely for those players not currently under contract. A tougher ask for those players currently contracted at other clubs - why would anyone agree to forego a month's (or more) salary?
But it’s not Google. If the rumour is true it’s just one exec who’s joined a consortium. If the Google's are genuine, then surely they want success and the PL, ASAP. 10 £30k pw players for a season will be £16m.Seems reasonable for the potential £300m rewards.
To be fair, even the most bed wetting posters, those with Saharan volumes of sand spewing from their quaking vaginas, are being overly optimistic in your view.Anyone expecting the completion of a signing in June never mind tomorrow is being overly optimistic in my view.
