Tanganga

Anel's got 12 months left. I doubt we'll get that much for him.
No me neither.
But, if there's a line for his signature, paying above the odds guarantees that club gets him.
I think we can replace Souza for less than we'll get for him though. Arblaster alone might do it. So what we make there could bump up a Tandanga offer. We messed about with the right back spot all season, wasted time with the CB too. Get the back 4 nailed down early. Attackers are interchangeable and exciting loans are worth a gamble higher up the pitch.

We've got a year left of parachutes. I'd be surprised if we're signing players for £15/16m and dishing out lucrative 4 year contracts.

4 year contracts maybe. Nope to £15m fee unless we've sold excess of say 30-40m?

If Tanganga is valued at 15m then that's a no. Aren't they being taken over too? .

They're not been taken over any time soon.

Turki is toying with idea to buy them but current owners have said they're not for sale anyway.

If you saw the bit in news from bell end Jordan - it says that turki wants to buy either Millwall or Southampton (Jordan reared his ugly head, and said he shouldn't buy Millwall as they're nkt a proper club).

Anel will be one of those players that you don’t know what you’ve had until it’s gone.

Barring a dodgy few months when he had huge family problems he’s hardly put a foot wrong since he signed and has been a steal for what we paid for him.

Quietly goes about his business and is consistently 7/10 or above each game.

One of the first names on the team sheet for me.

Even though he’s in his last year you’ve got to be asking £8-£10 million which is what it will cost to get anyone anywhere near,

If he had 2 years left it would be £15-£20 million no questions.

I like him. I like him a lot, but he gets beat for pace sometimes. He looses his man, grabs and pulls at set pieces. Looses his head if he makes a mistake, and for driving forward CB he's not done it very often and hasn't been much of a goal threat from corners all season. Maybe I've not paid close enough attention to the alternatives. Maybe I've set my standards too high after Maguire, JOC, Bash, Egan etc. I just think it's not impossible to replace him. We'll have to spend some money though, we can't get it wrong.

I'm a big fan of him, I don't think he's much of a leader but when he's next to a quality CB he benefits massively.

Not sure about the exact figure, but according to El Accounto, Millwall were asking for about £15m in January.
They only signed him last summer for free, they'll probably try to get as much money as possible for him now that he's their biggest saleable asset, they got decent money for Esse and reinvested it straight into the squad.

Coburn on loan and Ivanovic on a permanent deal.

Wouldn't surprise me if he ends up at one of the promoted PL clubs, Burnley need to replace Egen-Riley, Sunderland need new CB's and Firpo won't be the only defender that Leeds lose, Struijk?

He’s imperfect mate but he’s consistently good or better every game … I wouldnt read too much in to not scoring from corners or driving forward as a team we haven’t looked nearly as dangerous as we should from corners and wilders negative tactics puts paids to getting forward

Having taken a big step down when he joined Millwall from Spurs, I'd be surprised if his representative would have agreed to any clause that would impact their ability to get a move back to a Prem club should one come knocking.
Therefore, the rumoured release clause sounds realistic (if a bit low). If it is indeed true, you would think Millwall would firstly try to negotiate an extension and to remove the clause, but if that didn't prove fruitful, I'd expect them to deal rather than risk a club activating the clause late in the window.
As a player, he always seems to have a decent game whenever I watch him - tbh I was surprised he went to Millwall in the first place, but the move appears to have done him good. My only reservations would be (i) his size - while solid and strong he is only 6'1", (ii) he'd therefore need to play alongside a big monster (not Robinson!!!) who would need to be signed, and (iii) I'm not 100% sold on his ball retention / playing ability - not an issue if CW plans on playing direct next season but potentially more of an issue if ball retention is a priority (another flaw in Robinson's game which impact the rest of the side).
As to the likelihood of him joining, Dunne seems to be CW's favourite and unless he's being signed to play RB, I'd be surprised if both joined.

Should be target numero uno and the question should also have already been asked regards him. Fully expect him to wind up in the premier league though.
