Is it fair to say that since the Peterborough game which was really the start of the season for us with no pre-season or signings before hand.

Whilst we know we are always odds on to concede at some point during games it feels we aren't taking our opportunities or chances when on top.
Aside from the Boro game since P'Borough you could argue that in every game we haven't capitalized when we are on top in matches. And had we done we would have picked up far more points.

It's not a new thing for us either, we've been guilty of it for a while before this season too.

SJ's teams tend to have high scoring matches at this level so it's almost fair to say that although we need to be better defensively, to state the obvious scoring more would result in more points too.

We controlled and bossed that match for 73 mins. But as per, we concede and it's a poor one to give away. Heads drop as per too after conceding which needs to be addressed too.

Forest are a better team than earlier in the season, expect it will be a tough match, we could do with a win really to bounce back.

Watching the extended highlights it reinforces my view watching live yesterday.
At least 6 really good chances, Moose 2, MGW 2, Ndiaye and Didsy 1 each
Our XG 1.19 against Blackpools .21 tells a story and mostly comfortable saves from their keeper

Bang right he actually totally miscontrols the ball twice ,first with his arse and then another shite touch behind him allowing Stevens to catch up with him unfortunately the halpless Charlie Chaplin-a-like ran straight past him like the labrador with a beach ball that he is

I'm not Stevens biggest critic by any stretch but he barely makes an effort to actually get close to him, seem to be more about getting between him and the goal which is fine, but leaves him in space. He could have crossed or shot really.

blackpool should have gone in at the break 4 - 1 down know the defence getting loads of flack but were going nowhere if we dont start putting these chances away if were not going to play our 43m strikers we need 2 more to come in next january

We rarely miss total sitters. It's a case of needing slightly more clinical players up there. I like a lot of what Osborn does but if we can upgrade him for a goal threat...

still think osborn is a better lwb than midfielder and certainly better than stevens

That surely is the coaches fault, prepare the team to know precisely what the opposite players will do in a given scenario. If they don't then drop them for their cover. The goals conceded tend to come from space created by the wrong siding by our defence.
A detailed dossier on every opposition player is a given I would have thought.

Love billy to bits and he’s been top class this season, but can fans now stop using the “billy would have scored that” as an excuse to slag off our other strikers every time they miss a chance. Another two today where bill should have done better really

Blackburn were definitely the better side but we've missed three or four chances today that should have been scored.
