Really excited for Saturday already. I think the pressure is off us slightly now that we have first win under belt, first home game out the way. The players know what to expect now and I think we will see us become more confident and expansive as the seasons goes on. However Leicester will be a very tough game and we need to be at it from the off. I’m going for an exciting 1-1 which wouldn’t be the worst result.

Anyone know how Fleck is?
Obviously I want him fit ASAP but I also really want to see Freeman start.

I think McGoldrick will have lost his starting place this Saturday, I know that is cut throat but after missing a couple of chances recently I expect Robinson and Mcburnie to start.

Other than those two changes I think it'll be the same team and we will win 2-1.

Alex the Leicester fan was doing okay until I realised he was about 13 and 3/4.

"Let’s not pretend, you lot despise Jamie Vardy because of his links with your neighbours. I am sure he is in for a frosty reception which he will revel in. The man is a record breaker and king rustler, he is our greatest ever player. "

Peter Shilton?
Gary Lineker?
David Nish?
Gordon Banks?
Frank Worthington?

No, Jamie-scroat-Vardy.

If he’s using the criteria that none of the above won the league for them, then I’d say Kante or Mahrez.

It will be our hardest game this season but fancy us to get a narrow 2-1 win.
We will have to watch Maddison he is a quality player and probably knocking on the England door in the near future.

Be nice for their fans to visit a stadium close to the heart of the city with lots of great boozers and eating options as opposed to that MK Dons style - sanitised, soulless replacement for Filbert Street.

Leicester dropped some silly points last season against teams they should have beat, so they're far from invincible. Tough team though, who on their day can compete with most teams in the league.

I think we'll shock alot of people and pick up another 1-0 win. And, calling it now, we're gonna surprise Chelsea next week too (I don't rate Frank at all as a manager) and pinch a point there.

Mk Dons has an M&S food next door. Get with the times yeah.

I fancy us to get something from the Chelsea game also 👍

Henderson
Basham. Egan. JOC
Baldock. Stevens
Norwood Besic
Lundstram
Mcburnie. Robinson

Fleck injured so I’d imagine he’ll bring Besic in as he’s been on the bench in front of Ravel.

As much as I’d like to see freeman play just can’t see Wilder setting up more attacking against Leicester if we didn’t against Palace.

Mcburnie in for Didsy as McGoldrick looked poor last week and Mcburnie offers more of a goal threat.

1-1 great result

Is Fleck definitely unavailable then?

No's 1 and 3 on that list played against us in my first ever live game on 26 Dec '70 , main ginge Steve Whitworth was right back that day and they all played for England.

My Dad was mates with Gordon Banks and his brother Martin and all used to knock about on Tinsley Rec.

No link to Frank Worthington other than a love of booze , casinos etc etc , but I feel a connection there ....!!

The thing I am looking forward to more than anything else is the clackers there fans bring, proper fans it's whst being promoted to the premier league is all about, I mean how can you not be excited by it?

Pah, no link to Gary Lineker either!

Any street cred points you got for playing togger with Banksie, are lost due to you not knowing their best mercurical striker and their best tax dodging one.

Should be a real good game. They are a quality football team, who I fancy to be up towards the top 6 this season. If the players aren’t on the ball it could be our first battering of the season.
Just got a feeling we might be on the wrong side of a narrow loss on this one

Do we despise Jamie Vardy? I didn’t realise that was a thing. I know he’s a pig fan but I don’t dislike him. I’ve loads of respect for the lad as he’s come through the leagues and done it the hard way.

It's like my fealings towards Wednesday Swiss, on the day's we play them I hate them more than any other day, will be similar tomorrow towards Vardy, in fact I can start to feel it building already, grrr getting really nasty now.

These are probably the 'best of the rest' outside the big six in terms of the Premier League (or is it a big 5 now Lampard has moved south) so anything we can take from them will be good. A win is not out of the question if we can stifle Maddison, but I would still be going home smiling with a point.

I'd go Luke Freeman in for Fleck, McBurnie in for Robinson. Morrison added to the bench with Fleck out of the squad. Everything else the same.

UTB

If as expected, Fleck doesn’t make it in time, I have a hunch not having him in the engine room where his role and quality to the side will be evident by its absence come 5 pm 😞.
