CONFIRMED Patrick Bamford

No, adding another shit forward does not improve things.

And if you doubt that, look our midfield recruitment. We have gone out of our way to sign midfielders who are frequently injured and/or cannot create or score. And we added 3 more this summer!
I was being sarcastic

So from just failing last season he is responsible for our present position?
RUBBISH!!!
He "just" failed last season with one of the best squads in the division.
He "just" failed last season with a top 4 budget in the division.
He "just" failed last season playing some of the most boring, attritional football in the entire league for most of the season.
He "just" failed last season with supporters quickly losing interest in even going because it was so dull.
He "just" failed at Wembley due to his poor second half tactics.
He 'just failed'!

The present situation isn't solely his fault, no, but he isn't improving it much and it a very low bar to start with after Selles. His boring 1-0's have turned into tedious 0-1's this season.

We are pathetically weak in defence - something new managers generally address straight away - and we have the most impotent attack in the championship, not because we don't have decent attackers, but because we create very little.

We'll never move forward without a clean sweep of the 'jobs for the boys' management and recruitment sections. The 'Cult of Wilder' just can't see it, or maybe they don't want to. Maybe they might if we lose the derby, which is, in my opinion, a distinct possibility.

Keep clapping him if you want but the 'cultists' are getting fewer in number every week and the "you're not fit to wear the shirt" chants on the Kop have already started. We all know how that ends. Act before January and we might see the benefits sooner rather than later.

What if I told you, some people support our manager, because they are supporters?
I dont know who you're shouting at, why you're getting so angry, or why you call it a cult to support the best manager in my life time, but we will keep clapping. I hope that isn't an inconvenience for you.

So did I... in my defence I were a little un!

I was in my teens. Always remember at the end when someone says to Anakin "I think we'll be seeing a lot more of you in the future", a guy next to me turned round and right in my face shouted "HA HA HA HA HA HA YEAH TOO RIGHT!"

Can't remember anything else about the film

Weird that Selles didn’t get the same sort of blind faith / support.

His good 2 and a bit seasons were six years ago and he’s done more harm than good since then.

What gave you the impression I was shouting or angry? i didn't capitalise anything so how could you possibly know I was angry?

I was just using expressive text to emphasise my point having been told I was talking "RUBBISH!" by a previous poster and I was replying to him. You did read that, didn't you?

Actually, I'm not angry at all. I'm frustrated and currently bordering on an apathy towards even going any more. It's still my club though. A club I've followed for 40 years. I'll go to games if I want to and I'll say what I want, when I want, thanks. I don't need your approval as I really don't give a shit what you think. You are as irrelevant to me as I should be to you.

You do know that this is a forum, don't you? You know, where people have different views and that. Poster aren't really addressing YOU every time they post. Hope that helps.

Not disagreeing with a lot of what you say but! In a normal points season we would have got automatic.

Never liked that posh little diving prike. I know we need more strength up front but this isn't the signing that will give us that. Happy to be proven wrong. Would have rather waited until January to use our money on someone much younger. Or maybe we are skint?
