They gave Wilder a small fortune just 6 months ago. Most of the signings he made with that money were a complete flop or barely played.

The issue for me is not that the consortium sanctioned a £10m signing, but whether they borrowed the money to pay for it?

I remember Cooper having a couple of horrendous games a week or so before he signed for us. Barry's head won't be in it. Not sure why they are playing him in a pre-season game if he is being sold over the next 48 hrs.
