Apparently Sheff Wed contacted us last week to propose a behind closed doors friendly, with both clubs selling access to view on their subscription services. We allegedly turned it down.

If that's true its actually laughable, they'll do anything to make some £.

I wouldnt trust their players in a 'friendly' such is their jealousy at the moment. I definately think a numerous amount of our players would have to be highly vigilant and anticipate more than a few 'bad tackles' (assaults) coming their way by pig players hoping to weaken us for our upcoming PREMIER LEAGUE campaign. Way too risky for my liking. Horrible little club they are. As their history proves.

Well, they were talking up a friendly with a top side for their 150th anniversary.

Few years overdue mind, but that never seemed to stop them before.

I can fully envisage commemorative Lonsdale slip ons for sale at the Pigland club shop for SWFC pay-per-viewers.

I'm calling bullsh*t.
Why would they want a friendly they only have about 14 players and 3 of them are Goalkeepers with one of them frozen out.

Probably because it'd make them a fucking shitload in their accounts when all their 50million fans buy access that they can then back date for last season. 😳
