Never seems to work this. Brought Stearman on v Stoke and it cost us, same today (not aimed at Stearman). We just invite teams on and we end up at sixes and sevens because we aren't to clever at defending. Would rather us bring on attacking options, would suit us better.

When we came up, we generally had 4 ways of playing.

1. standard
2. drop 10 yards when winning like today
3. Need a goal push 10 yards
4. Bring on Hanson

I generally don't like a change in formation when clinging on. Everyone on the pitch knows their job

Stoke is the only other time it hasn't worked.

Stearman has come in 6 times, I think, and we've won 4 and drawn 2.

He's not been on the losing side yet actually - we've won the 2 he started.

So it has worked more often than not.
