was it only me that thought the way to start the game in midfield was we keef on rite tongy n hendrie in centre n armstrong on left, we dont need a defensive midefielder startin wen ur against colchester! very disappointed that the back 2 struggled against a league 1 striker like platt n a 40 odd year old teddy!

Wasn't that your Killa haha :D

Platt gave him problems all game, but Killa always managed to get ball away except for the last minute when Killa went walkies.
Most of the game it looked like Killa was wrestling with Platt

So it was his new boots? Wouldn't new boots be more likely to keep him on his feet? lol.....

Ok ok, maybe not new boots that would make him do it, but they were the wrong ones anyway.

I'm still hyped up from the match, I blame that :p

The yellow soles certainly don't suit monty.

u need to move away from the fact that killa is not the cause of all our problems! :D

no one has mentioned lucketti? looked reasonably solid, but also very quiet! think the back 4 need morgan!

Just the last one which threw away two points :D

Don't know what peoples problem is with hendrie on the left

its where he played the majority of his games at stoke and did well there!

There new players in the squad thing aren't just going to click like that

i agree, but for a winger he comes inside way too much n leaves us playing very narrow with no width to attack down the flanks for 70% of the game

For me sharp had a poor game

he seemed to keep turning into defenders

Vote for your MOTM... you have until Tuesday (our next fixture) to vote.

i'd have to say geary, better Right winger than keef is even though he played right back (gillespie went passed his man once the whole game, and thats once more than what he normally does.

Beattie showed his class in flashes, he can only get better in my eyes.

I've gone for Geary too......

Sorry bout how is Beattie leading the way so far? he played well granted but come on :D

Geary was solid throughout - he gets my vote.

Frustrating yesterday but we're gonna have to get used to it. We're many people's favourites and at Championship level we've pretty much got a star-studded squad so most teams will come and defend for a point. I hope our away form is a hell of a lot better than last year's...

gave my vote to tonge

changed the game when he came on, had a part in the first and scored the second and had another decent pop straight after, he and morgand have got to start against Watford, otherwise i dont want to think what will happen :(

According to the Sun, it was Geary who crossed for Beattie to score :D

Sorry... a busy weekend has meant I've only just had chance to put our match report and pictures up.

HERE

Looks like Del got MOTM by a country mile

Well done young sir.
