Very occasional visitor to Bramall Lane as I live in Glasgow, but was looking online today to buy tickets for the Barnsley game on 19th March to see none available, but tickets are on sale for QPR on 5th April.

Any explanation why Barnsley tickets aren't on the go?

Is it the local derby aspect? I have minimal loyalty points if that's a factor?

Any advice appreciated.

I’ve got enough loyalty points to get in before general sale, and tickets aren’t available to me either, so I don’t think it’s your loyalty points that is a factor, if that helps at all.

I thought tickets normally went on sale about a month before the game, so the surprise is more that QPR tickets are on sale now. You’ll have no problems getting tickets for the Barnsley match.

Tickets for the QPR game have been on sale since before the original postponed game in December and are left on sale. I would think Barnsley tickets will be available in the next week or so.

Thanks for the replies.

It all makes sense now. ☺️

Probably answered elsewhere but QPR was only cancelled day before due to them cheating using covid rules that’s why

The tickets for the game against Forest have only just gone on sale, so i would imagine that the Barnsley ones will be the next up.

R Utd still trying to find out what date and what time the KO time will be from SYP. I will be very surprised if that game stays as a Saturday 3pm KO. The match @ Oakwell was moved to a Sunday

I don't get how people think they'll be loads of tickets left for Barnsley, didn't we get 28k vs Luton I'm sure Barnsley will sell out which leaves around 28k ish for us and if we keep on this run it'll sell out

The club is doing its best to remain 4,000 below capacity by letting every loyalty point holder piss about for a couple of weeks before releasing them on general sale 7 minutes before kick off

Is this a genuine possibility?

Sunday lunchtime would actually be fine.
Saturday lunchtime would be a pain in the arse.

Tickets are available to be bought according to your points level. So tickets will show as being available on the site IF your current points total matches the stage of the points level being on sale if that makes sense.
So we sell tickets on different days to the different points levels.
e.g
55,000 points on Monday
45,000 points Tuesday
30,000 points Wednesday etc but unless you have the required number of points for that particular day the site wont show tickets as available when you log in !
