Olympiakos sign Baldock, he's then sent out on loan for the season to Forest, who get our player without spending a penny of their own money. I wouldn't put it past them as there have been a number of questionable deals between the two clubs since they have the same owner. Forest tend to get fees for their players from Olympiakos, and receive players back the other way on loan or released to them on a free.

That said, I'd snap anyone's hands off to sell Baldock for £2mil. It's about his current value.

I'm struggling to see how Baldock can we worth anything near £5mil. He's a fairly solid defender but going forward he is negative, passes backwards all the time, doesn't put in early crosses, when he does cross they're garbage, and arguably he's no better now than when we first signed him. He's not the best right back in the Championship. Bogle is worth a lot more than Baldock.

Agree LB - unless a very capable replacement was lined up that could push Bogle for a start, selling him would be daft. There are a number of others I think would make more sense to sell if funds are needed to reinvest in the squad - any 2 of the 3 LWBs and Osborn would all raise close to or more than the amount rumoured for Baldock and their departure would be less impactful. Berge going for a decent fee would allow a more extensive rebuild but I doubt anyone will pay close to what Utd would want - the only hope is that he shines for Norway over summer.

Exactly. Sell any 2 of the 3, keep RND, and flog Baldock if the RIGHT price comes in. Don’t if not. It’s that simple.

They've been linked before of course. I'd say anything £5m and over and I think the club may be tempted, if Baldock wants to go there would obviously be a factor. We'd need to sign a replacement of course particularly as Bogle will be injured till October.
