Not a good showing of ourselves . Out muscled for most of the game, gave away a soft free kcik, and penalty, and why on earth did we keep hoofing the ball up field when the only six footer on the field was McEveley? PNE won 90% of the balls in the air and it was only a matter of time until they got to us.
The players should donate their wages from this game to the Children' s Hospice as a mark of respect to the supporters who wasted money to sit through a pitiful performance!
Awful performance, almost to a man. Top and bottom were they weren't up for it and Preston wanted it a lot more than we did. Given the amount rested on Saturday there's little excuse for it and personally given the depth of the squad now certain higher profile players who've been carried since last year should find themselves outside the 18.
really really poor...but surely that's not Cloughys fault (4 rating!?), those were players that he's relied on in the past, players have to take the blame for that one I'm afriad
