It's quite funny how people see things. Doyle played decent again. Miles better than Brandy who was massively ineffective. Then look at Chris Morgan, he took off a striker for a midfielder polar opposite as to what all the fans wanted all season so far and get over 6. It was a stroke of luck, not a masterstroke but I suppose, if your face doesn't fit...

I think the reason Morgan got the vote is he saw a player who couldn't be arsed (King) and took him off. Not seen Weir make a decison like that all season.

None of the defence earned more than a 4, really poor. Brandy kept up his role of playing well when the rest of the team isn't and then fading out when the rest start to play. Hall didn't do much but hope we keep him a bit longer, definitely a better option than Flynn. Any other midfielder/forward (even Doyle, Murphy, Porter etc) would have scored his chance straight after our first goal and put us right back in it.

Poor view first half (back of net row C still had to stand) Second half moved to side. Blades fans OK but what a shambles for Coventry fans. Another long journey home.

The defence were terrible. That chubby Pig Clarke gave them a torrid time. Collins was awful and looked incredibly jittery. Maguire was poor too. I was impressed by Coady, who clearly gave a fuck. He worked hard and played well. McGinn was a real shining light and looked a class act. He is good in position and cool, calm and collected.

..... Taylor was excellent when he came on. Scored and was unlucky not to get more. he was a constant threat. Brandy looked dangerous, but wasted a couple of very good chances. The rest were crap. Doyle was ok 2nd half, but was terrible first half. At fault for their 2nd and just a shocking captain. Fair play to Morgan for making the subs, as it was Taylor and McGinn that brought things to life.

The 3 men that came on all contributed to the "fight back". Taylor and McGinn have surely got to start next Saturday? Drop King (if we're still for the 1 up front) and leave out Baxter although I presume he'll be out injured anyway. Will not be missed though I assure you.

McGinn was head and shoulders above anybody else when he came on. Coady is starting to look some player too.
