I've got a 20 minute walk to my bus stop, to get half hour bus into Chesterfield, to then get train into Sheff

Anyone got some waterproof trousers

Not a very intelligent addition to the debate this, but have just seen our dog attempting to have a crap in the garden, and being blown over every time she adopted the 'thrutching' position. One of the all time great visual gags.

Hopefully they won't have the fire display pre kick off, the flames will blow straight into the crowd 😅

Bet they still have the sprinklers on at half time though.
Even when theres a torrential downpour....notice how they still water the pitch...whats that all about?

The influence of Big Sprinkler permeates throughout football sadly. They control all the groundspeople up and down the country.

Looks bad looking from the window...but just been out to the shop....it’s not that bad.....not cold at all...in fact it’s quite warm.
Im nesh, can handle wind and rain, its the cold winds that I find the worse.

Then we are left scratching our head as one of our players slips over and the other team have a chance on goal.

post of the year

Got really bad at Oughtibridge this last half hour- reckon Rimmingtons mural might get to the Lane before I do.

City vs West ham been postponed

It was a red weather warning at the Etihad this morning....very heavy swirling rain...much heavier than in Sheffield.
Sheffield is only an amber warning with the winds and rain slowing throughout the afternoon.
Its really heavy rain at the moment but it changes to light rain before kick off and become less through out the day.
At 5pm Sheffield is downgraded to a yellow weather warning.
Its a shame the match wasn’t played at 4pm...would have been much better conditions.

Abandoned attempts to get across from Stockport, was getting a rail replacement bus that'd get in 30 before kickoff but with the Woodhead closed, fuck knows when it'd actually arrive

Thus begins his complete transformation into the Michael Fish of football journalism

Confirmation that the rain is in fact terrestrial, rather than the Venusian rain that presumably others Biggs mixes with had been predicting.

as said on shoutbox this was the issue at 12ish. on accuweather at 12ish rain went from 4/5 intensity to 13

Then the sun comes out and it was much ado about nothing.
