Sheffield United are one of the best placed sides to sign Loren from Real Betis, reports local source Informa Betis.

The newly promoted Premier League club are in the race along with Espanyol, Granada and Osasuna. The second two Spanish clubs will also play in the top tier next season after promotion winning campaigns, with Espanyol more established in La Liga.

Betis, however, have a problem. They have Loren on the ‘exit ramp’, but of all the players the Seville club want to sell, he’s being the most reluctant.

The 24 year old striker signed a renewal less than a year ago, and that contract takes him through to June 2022. Last season he made 45 appearances, scoring eight goals and adding four assists.

Actually, Real Madrid would be the best place side to sign him. Lot's of money and on a huge recruitment drive.

However, like us, they won't. Them, because he's dog sh*t to what they have currently. Us, because we don't sign untested foreign players.

It's a classic...if someone posts about an overseas player with no UK footballing experience joining us, you know they're talking balls and forever will do.
