First-time poster so go easy...

I was at the Norwich game and first heard a Blades version of the Liverpool song. Can anyone confirm the words? I got...

? Not sure of the last line

Felt a bit derivative since the Liverpool song has only just been created (and got a lot of attention) but then most football chants are!

Top marks to all of the singing at Norwich btw. The invention of the 'take your time' song was genius.
 

Shite song, original Liverpool one is overrated and also shite. That Blades version doesn't even scan. A few lads tried to force it at Norwich and it didn't work. Next.

On the 'ain't got a barrel of money' song, I'm still surprised we haven't changed that Eddie Colquhoun line given how well we've done over the past year.

Completely agree however, should we go down this route there are a few ground rules....

Song (that would be) unique to us ......well, can't say I've ever heard anyone else use it at football.
Specific lyrics for one player.
Tune we all know (might be stretching it a bit but I believe we're more cultured than we let on).
Easy words to remember.... there's only two.
Tune needs quickening up in tempo from the original (we have form for this).
