Officials and VAR trying their very best to keep the title race going as far as possible.

Fuck everyone else.

Liverpool and City can both fuck off. Nothing changes.

UTB

Right we can keep feeling sorry for ourselves or go and get a leveler. If we all think 1-1 at the same time it will happen.

We can then fuck the ref over after the game.

2-0 City.

So disheartening when officiating is as piss poor as this. It must be even more so for our lads. Imo absolutely robbed and all our momentum destroyed by terrible decisions

The referee does a brilliant job of letting it run through his legs so he doesn’t have to stop play and set City straight on the attack.

To be fair, we’re usually pretty good at not letting crap like that affect our momentum. Wilder doesn’t let them think like that.

Radio Sheffield allowed no fan reaction after the match today.
When that ginger cunt at Hillsborough got the sack in 2012 they had a spontaneous two hour wank fest / requiem , fucking off scheduled programmes so that weasel faced cunt could be toasted.
Eighth in the premier league.
Robbed..or not?
Don't let our fans ring in.
Pricks.

Got to just forget this now, move on, no amount of moaning will alter result, don`t let it eat away

Says it all really! Disappointed not to get a result at City!!!! Expected to get dicked here, but could have easily have got something from the game if only we took our chances and had competent rules and officials! We have come so far in such a short space of time its unreal!

We coulda should won that game. Moose's header at the first and Sharp at the end. No sign of VAR to stop it.
Sadly we had to play against 12 men + VAR and we had no chance. How the referee apparently passing to a Man City player is not a drop ball is beyond me. Also annoyed at the lack of replays. Roll on MOTD.

At the moment I hate the game as I've not calmed down.

However I am so proud of the team today the way they played and made Man City look ordinary.

To quote Chris Wilder after the referee passed the ball you saw him turn away and mouth "IT's A FUCKING JOKE".

Played well until their first goal (albeit controversial). That changed the whole complex of the game and left us their for the taking. Tough for the lads but we keep going. UTB!

Great header from Billy - gutted it didn't go in for him.

Where do you go from there. There's zero trust between players, staff, and fans and the officials. No-one trusts the twats.

He may not have touched the ball but he moves right across Fleck and stops his pass, what more does it take? An elbow to the face?

We were fantastic today and certainly would have been good value for a point, but I expected that we would be, that's what you get with United, we almost always give a good account of ourselves.

Unlucky for Bill, but he did well when he came on. Has a lot to give.

Well folks, I think if we didn't already know it before tonight, we can be assured that any success we achieve this season will be soley down us, and us alone as we certainly won't be getting a helping hand from the officials/VAR, unlike a certain section of other PL clubs might have the courtesy of (no name dropping necessary). Fuck VAR and fuck all the rest, we are United and we are the best.
Great effort tonight, feel proud if not a little hard done too.

Exactly this. So, are we now to set a presidence that the ref could interfere with play if he dislikes a certain team and get away with it? Not at all suggesting that tonight's Manc ref did this but if he wanted to do so, he could?

I just woken up from a lovely dream and decided to write the match report for all those who missed the game:

Manchester City 1-1 Sheffield United

Sheffield United picked up one of their best away results of the season since their memorable 1-2 victory at whatever Tottenham’s new stadium is called. United took the lead through a well taken Lys Mousset goal, a quick review from VAR showed him level with the last defender and, as it wasn’t clear and obvious, common sense prevailed. There was a worrying moment for the away side when John Fleck was blocked off by referee Christopher Kavanagh leading to a Sergio Aguero goal but thankfully VAR was utilised correctly and once again common sense prevailed, no goal. Manchester City did get their equaliser through a fine finish from Kevin De Bruyne. 1-1 it finished but it was the Blades who left the new Maine Road stadium the more frustrated, Lys Mousset having had two wonderful chances in the first half and Billy Sharp clipping the inside of the post at the death.

🤣🤣🤣 Fantastic summary. If you can't laugh at the situation, you'd cry!
