Little things that have changed since we got promoted

As someone who's been to a fair few Citeh games (benefits of growing up in Glossop where a lot of my family are Citeh fans) - one thing I'm looking forward to is the 'match day experienced' improving significantly.

Hopefully the PL will bring a much more varied offering both within the ground when it comes to food and drink, but also the level of service. Still not been able to buy a half time beer and drink it and not miss the second half....

Their offerings in the Superstore make ours look like a jumble sale and I'm assuming adidas will be suddenly giving us the A* service for next season.

One thing Citeh also have is a fan zone as you get off the tram at their stadium. Be interesting to see if we embrace that kind of thing or whether that kind of speak is sacrilege...

They could start allowing beer sales at the top of the kop, or at least allow you to take your beer up the steps. That would be a start. OK, you're not supposed to sup "within view of the pitch" - but that could be taken into account by marking out areas where you can stand with your beer, and areas where you can't.

Incidentally at the Ipswich game I saw plenty of people with pints at the top of the kop steps. If a group of lads with beer walk past the stewards on the steps, they tend not to do anything to stop you. No one really gives a shit, and there are no coppers there.

Wilder's whitened teeth :D

Amazed no-one else has mentioned it.

Funny that Wilder doesn't get any shit for having his teeth whitened, but we rip the piss out of Warnock for his facelift. They're both cosmetic procedures.

Sky reporters interviewing other teams players and calling them by our players’ names - James Norwood of Tranmere being called Ollie by the reporter at FGR!

We're nearly massive!

😀

No, I’m not fun at parties.

You shouldn't even be allowed out of your bedroom. Every waking hour should be spent on statto stuff for the podcast.

While we're at it, you and Roygbiv shouldn't be allowed to travel together either. Imagine the outcry were your podcast delayed, or dread to think of it, cancelled due to the Robin Reliant you were both travelling in, suffering a 25mph high speed blow out?

That's almost as scary a thought as Deadbat s worse case scenario prediction for the season.

The tunnel in South Stand has a feel of your favourite, local boozer having gone through a change.

Once upon a time you walked in and saw familiar faces. It was cosy, your sanctuary.

But now the landlord has put a coffee machine behind the bar and booked a jazz band so a lot more dickheads have started turning up.

those twitter numbers are incredibly low. Norwich and Watford are nearly 3 times higher and Bournemouth are nearly twice as high. Cardiff and Hull City are also quite a bit higher.

I wonder what is behind some strange numbers

You can buy followers. Robots basically. Maybe they've done that?

276K on twitter now.

I don't know who is responsible for the Forged in steel stuff but to outsiders that is inspired. A Portsmouth friend and a Sunderland friend ,both already jealous of our Blades nickname ,badge city centre ground and team think that the forged in steel promotion was brilliant.

They’ve still got a dodgy bolt on the door of the ladies toilet. I was hoping I’d get some privacy now we’re in the prem.

That worked out well for us 😫

Yes VAR has definitely changed it for us. Now we just get royally shafted by ridiculous offside decisions ruling out perfectly good goals, rather than dodgy penalties being given against us.

Surely we can just cob Scunny twenty quid for the @SUFCOfficial twitter handle now we’re proper big time?
I went to school with the son of some big noise at Scunny and he had an ex-official flagpole flag (SUFC in white letters against an all-red background) hung up on the wall. Obviously this caught my attention. I traded my well-worn porn collection for it. The things you do for the RAWW. It made it to two World Cups before being torn to shreds by Brighton fans (the flag, not my porn collection)
