Lots of.LOLs from the 'knowing few' but they were taking the piss right outside the Cricketers and as I said I've not seen that since West Ham came in the game we beat them 3.0

When West Ham came one of their lot got bitten by an Alsatian, raised his arm with the Alsatian attached and started “remonstrating” with said Fido.

Suspect Leicester fans probably sang “Sheffield’s a shithole” and posted videos on WhatsApp to their 6th form class message group. 😂

Suppose we could be anything. There's a post in Leicestershire that is apparently the exact middle point of England. Love to know who had to measure that out with a click wheel 😂
Sorry but the middle of England has been just outside Coventry in Meriden Warwickshire for the last 500 years so it's debatable. I went to a wedding at a boozer there a few years back they had a post claiming that it was he centre of England. I suppose it depends at which two points you measure it from.

Hmmm don't know then. Pretty sure the post I'm on about is near Bosworth. Let Coventry have it though, they haven't got much else to shout about

Lineker won't acknowledge how good we were today tabby faced asshole

None of the pundits did, even Ian "they're my team this season" Wright. In fact all he chose to do with his 20 second "analysis" was to show how our CBs left lot's of space behind them when they went forward, how insightful! He has basically gone from totally praising our system and approach, to doing a Souness style "they can't get away with this in the PL" within 6 days. 😂

Seriously, can we get these pundits replaced by AI anytime soon? Quite honestly my phone's Google Assistant would do a better job than half of them.

I thought that. The commentator was more positive.

I mean, if we're his team, he knows we've had a bad day with some individuals - Norwood, Robinson, Basham I suppose, and arguably Henderson for the first - that's nowhere near our best as shown by the second half and the previous two games. And yet we gave a proper game to Leicester, probably harder game than Chelsea gave them.

It's taken 3 weeks and MOTD can fuck off already, that was MOTD2 recap level analysis, lasted about 40 seconds - have they all got somewhere to be?

Just rename it VAR of the Day and have the highlights on the red button.

The fabled ‘Baby Squad’; they were shit 25 years ago and they’re shit still. Had dealings with them in ‘95. Even numbers, no runners, all mouth and snide SI badges. No mark c*nts. Write a book, put on a play & claim a result against Red Star Belgrade in 2000?!? Jog on lads, jog on, you’ve been mixing it with the FEC and lunatic fringe and calling it a decent level.

What annoyed me today was seeing a young Leicester City supporter, who was probably the same age as my youngest (6), get ploughed over by SYP who majorly overreacted to a minor scuffle outside the away end.

I ushered the fella and his lad away and walked with them down to the Crics before parting ways. The dad was telling me this was the kids first away game, whilst carrying the distraught lad crying on his shoulder. Sad to see.

Anyway I think he was ok after a bit but stuff like that shouldn’t happen. SYP well heavy-handed.

I live in Leicestershire and will have the pleasure of putting up with a bit on "Bantz" at work Tuesday...... can't wait To hear how "plucky" they thought our performance was...hey-ho...

I don't know what it is about LCFC but there is a huge arrogance since they won the league, you would hope after the dreadful incident with their Chairman last year they would be a bit more humble. Where I live a lot of my Son's friends have walked round the town in Man United/Chelsea/Liverpool shirts for years and are now "Lestaa till we die"....so maybe that's got something to do with it?

Either way, they can all act the bollocks as much as they want, they still have to hand out plastic clappers to create an atmosphere in their soulless stadium....always in the shadow of their big brother who plays Rugby.

Not surprised unfortunately. Anybody with about 20 (or even less) who are 'up for it' can turn up and take the piss these days - anywhere.

They were probably still upset that they got ‘chased’ out of the pub on London Bridge when we played Millwall a few years back. Think they were at Palace and a few got a bit mouthy - didn’t last long.
Joined this forum a couple of years ago when we drew you in the cup just to gauge your views on us .
My 10 pence worth.
Was there yesterday with our lot same as I have been most times we’ve played you since the mid 70’s.
Last game of season 75 at BL was an eye opener for a 12 year old ,a good few of yours spilling out onto the pitch the following year as Chris Garland got a hatrick for us in the 3rd round of the cup, the kind of things that stick in your mind when you’re young.
Might not be reciprocated on here but always looked at SUFC as similar to us in lots of ways and always preferred you over the other lot, same with Blues over Villa for me.
May 90 apart , which we had to swallow I’d say things have been pretty even. Had bits over the years, came a poor second outside the station before the game in 87 but surprised a few ofyou near the Cathedral afterwards , that kind of thing.
Bumped into you more than once in London over the years and as far as I’ve seen it’s usually been ok, but of mutual respect when the proper lads have been there.
When we were at Palace the March we won the league you were great with us when we bumped into you.
It’s 2019 now and yes we’ve got clackers and the “nouveau riche” types with their entitlement but that doesn’t mean we haven’t still got real supporters
Respect

I'm on nights this weekend so I've just been straight in and out the ground completely sober and didn't see a Leicester fan close up but the away end seemed to have a high number of dark/black tshirts especially middle front where the main singers were. Anyone else notice? I don't think it was their dark away kit. Was it something innocent or are they going for some sad russian ultra thing all turning up in black tshirts?! 🤣

Dats da fuckin ultras init man.

Palace have gone down that road too. I'm pretty sure Palace have a guy with a megaphone orchestrating the songs too, how pathetic

There was a mob of them on the corner of the away end outside the Cricketers giving it the big un for around 10 mins....40 or 50 of them looking for trouble...bouncing up and down with 3 or 4 coppers around them who should have made go in the ground but didnt. It's a while since I ve seen anything like that outside.tje ground

Without condoning the violence, surely if you want a fight right under the noses of coppers and cctv is probably not the correct place to do it... or maybe they’re that pathetic that under the noses of the police and cctv is the right place to show off.

Sure, but they were hiding behind the Police horses, hardly "hard man" behaviour.

Correct. Outside the Cricks used to be an intimidating place for away fans but the consequences for trouble are so great these days that you don't often see United lads there anymore. Of course away fans of the same disposition know this and act up. I'm not sure how active the beeb are these days.

Saw the aftermath of some trouble across from the Sheaf about an hour after the game had finished. A bloke was taken away in an ambulance and the area was taped off when we left.

Don’t think any of the old boys are active, now it’s just a few young un’s Dressed in the gear with no idea. Bounce around making gestures is about all any “firm” does up and down the country these days

Me and 2 kiverton blades got chased near a park in Leicester the time we played them away I’m sure we won 1-0 as we walked back to the train station we noticed a blade in a petrol station covered in blood and 10 of the baby squad came out of the park fronted by this tall bloke who pulled a machete out from under his coat scary times especially for 3 16 year old luckily a few of our lot broke through the escort and sent em packing
