As many of you will already know, we lost a dear friend last Saturday (18th May). After collapsing suddenly at home, Kieran was rushed to A and E where, despite all their efforts, they were sadly unable to recover him and he was lost to us.

For those of us lucky enough to have been his friend, his cheeriness, optimism and love for life are something we have grown to love and matchdays for us all are never going to be the same again. For those who know him only by his “Boo Radley” persona, we are very sorry you will never get the chance to meet him, but trust his wit, knowledge and passion for his and our club shone through and brought a smile to your faces too.

In memory of Kieran and to celebrate the times we spent in his company, a minimum of three members of the S24SU forum (one really good, one really diligent, one really neither - I'll let them voluntarily out themselves) are taking part in the Doncaster Half marathon on the 9th of June.

Following consultation with his wife Vanessa and their two sons Tom and Curt, we would all be very grateful for any donations made in his memory to the British Heart Foundation, these can be made via the following Just Giving link:

Please also remember to make a Gift Aid declaration as part of the process if you are eligible, as this allows the charity to claim and extra 25p for every £1 you give.

Lovely tribute - have donated and will share.

Cheers Foxy for setting this up.

It is Geary23 who is the really good one, and it is raul whose whole idea this is, and I’m just the token fat lad at the back.

I couldn’t think of a better way to pay my respects to Kieran/Boo and show support for the rest of the Radley family. I can’t really add any more to what Foxy has said, but I’m very proud to be helping raise money in memory of a fantastic fella

Haven’t been on here for a while, gutted to hear this news ☹

RIP boo
