Most players will now know that, without Ndiaye, the odds of relegation are massively increased.
Looking at our squad now, you'd have to say 9/10 it goes down.

Any agent worth their salt will be very resistant to lumpy relegation clauses for their client.

One of our reported targets has joined nearly every other footballer in going to Saudi, reported 20m euros fee.

Must be looking at option Y in terms of striker targets, which may just lead us to going with what we've got. Which isn't good enough quite frankly, appalling planning by the board as we should have had someone through the door by now after selling Ndiaye.

On reflection, the gamble of keeping Ndiaye for one final season would have been better strategy than not replacing/replacing with a more expensive half as good replacement. At least we would have stood half a chance of staying up.
