Bit of fun, in a similar style to how the BBC run their Lawrenson predictions. Let's all have a go at predicting the table come May. You get a point for every place out you are (higher or lower), person with the lowest points wins.

Could all try now with squads as they are, then do another at the end of the Transfer Window.

I'll go with...

  1. Man City
  2. Chelsea
  3. Liverpool
  4. Man Utd
  5. Tottenham
  6. Everton
  7. Arsenal
  8. Wolves
  9. Leeds
  10. Leicester
  11. Southampton
  12. Sheff Utd
  13. Burnley
  14. West Ham
  15. Newcastle
  16. Brighton
  17. Fulham
  18. Crystal Palace
  19. Aston Villa
  20. West Brom

Going on current squads

Champions-City
United-14th
Relegated- West Brom fulham Palace

  1. Man City
  2. Man utd
  3. Liverpool
  4. Chelsea
  5. Wolves
  6. Tottenham
  7. Arsenal
  8. Everton
  9. Brighton
  10. Sheff utd
  11. Burnley
  12. Newcastle
  13. Leeds
  14. Aston Villa
  15. Southampton
  16. Leicester
  17. West Ham
  18. West Brom
  19. Fulham
  20. Crystal Palace
All depends on transfer window ofc, Palace have had it in this league i reckon, ageing players and if they lose there one asset in Zaha i cant see how theyll stay up.

Fulham wont ‘do a fulham’ again however it still wont work.

Feel that WBA will stick with their team by large and will fall away.

Brighton are doing great business and i could see them finally hitting the heights which they have paid through the teeth for.

Leicester will struggle this year, I could see Rodgers getting the sack early on and they will struggle with the next appt, before turning to someone of the Nigel Pearson ilk to save them from untimely relegation.

I think we will ‘surprise’ again, some vital additions and we can regularly hit top 10 under CWAK - Berge POTY.

16th seems very low for a Leicester side with a midfield trio of Ndidi, Tielemans and Maddison, while 12th seems very high for a Newcastle side with the worst underlying metrics in the league - but stranger things have happened!

So many unknowns and variables at this stage so will definately revisit on the eve of the kick off.

With the business they've already done and look like doing shortly Chelsea really should be doing more than scraping 4th but I really don't rate Fat Frank as a manager so that will be their level this season IMO.

If Newcastle get their takeoever soon then I'd probably have them higher but Ashley won't spend, Saint-Max will probably be off and Mrs Doubtfire will struggle again. I could even see them going down.

I truly believe the Blades could finish anywhere from 8th to 14th and will depend entirely on CW either tweaking the system to get more goals or finding a player that can. Could also depend on who is between the sticks

I bet CW doesn't discuss a finishing position target with the players - all they have to focus on is winning the next game.
Being a fan who realises we have the least resources of all the PL clubs , I simply hope we can continue to survive here by heroic ingenuity & overachievement.
Just no point me thinking about a finishing position.

On the other hand , I do look forward to the squad & the play continually improving.
But recognise that such improvement could happen and still see us relegated from the ruthless PL.

Love how you all think leeds are going to finish mid table 😄 they’ll do absolutely fuckall, there first signing being helder costa at £16m 😆 Villa pt 2

Seems that Fulham are the new Sheff Utd then........?
