  • Drivers may be able to find suitable parking spaces by visiting driveway rental sites JustPark, Your Parking Space or Primal Parking - at their own risk
  • There are no pubs in the local vicinity that will allow visiting supporters, but our turnstiles will be open 2hrs before kick off
  • The visiting supporters concourse has it’s own DJ, we will run a competition for your younger supporters with Sheffield United branded prizes to be won and 2 supporters under 12 years old will have the opportunity to take part in our half time challenge which will take place on the pitch (weather permitting)
  • We have a Fan Zone which will be open from 12pm - all supporters are welcome on production of a valid matchday ticket
  • We have an early bird offer which consists of a burger or hotdog with a beer for £7 and is available inside the stadium for up to 1 hour before kick-off.

  • On match days we operate a text alert system for supporters who wish to report any issues/incidents of discriminatory abuse/antisocial behaviour …. The number is 07507 477669 and they should include the nature of issue/incident and the exact location in the text.
  • Only bags small enough to fit under a seat will be permitted into the Stadium subject to a full search at the turnstiles, but we have a left luggage facility at the Information Centre which is free of charge.

While I get the excitement around SB, Besic more than deserves a starting position tomorrow. He has waited patiently for JLs form to dip, supported the squad, and performed well when asked to step in. A first team shirt should always be earned regardless of your name, standing, reputation, or price tag and there should be no short cuts around that at The Lane.
100% Although I would expect to see Lunny dropped for Berge on the bench though, time to try someone different after JL's performances/fitness of late.

In all the excitement, we've got a game at Palace tomorrow. A toughie as usual, but can we make it 20th time lucky?

United have now gone 19 Premier League games in the capital without winning:
Arsenal (2020); Chelsea, West Ham, Spurs (2019); Charlton, Chelsea (2007); West Ham, Arsenal, Fulham, Spurs (2006); Chelsea, Spurs, West Ham (1994); Arsenal, Wimbledon, QPR, Wimbledon, Arsenal (1993); Crystal Palace (1992). Our last win there was 2-1 at Chelsea on 31/10/1992 (Littlejohn, Deane).

Or, .........................Blades are now undefeated in 7 Premier League games against London clubs:

H: Palace W
A: Chelsea D
H: Arsenal W
A: West Ham D
A: Spurs D

No excuse for it... where is the Team vs Palace thread? Where’s the OMDT vs Palace.
It’s not as if there’s much else going on. Apart from brexiting tonight.

Bump... Just a quick reminder this is actually happening 🤣🤣

Henderson
Basham Egan O’Connell
Baldock Besic Norwood Fleck Stevens
McBurnie Sharp
Subs:
Verrips, Jagielka, Robinson, Berge, Lundstrum, Didzy (if fit), Moose;
I‘d be attempted to swap L. Freeman for Lundstrum or Didzy isn’t for
I think Restos and Zivkovic won’t be eligible

Close.

One out.

🍔 😉.

Forgot we had a game this weekend after the last few days

Hoping we get to see a start from big Berge tomorrow. Weird how the club haven't said it Retsos or Ziv are available. Judging by when they were announced they shouldn't be.

Unchanged lineup from the City game I reckon. The new trio to take the places of Freeman, Robinson and Jagielka on the bench possibly, though wouldn’t surprise me if Berge is the only one of them that makes it on there for tomorrow.

Hendo
Georgios Baldockastopholopalous
Bashambauer
Egan
JOC
Enda
Mo
Norwood
Fleck
McBurnie
Moose/Sharp

Bench
Sharp/Moose
Lundstram
Berge
Verrips
New Robbo
Osborn (swap with McG if fit)
Retsos (if available)

Don't think Zivko will be up to it yet, hasn't been in China for 3 weeks apparently so can't have been playing.

Berge is class. He will get a run out from the bench. The other two are not ready yet, even if they are eligible.
This game has possible points all over it.

Can't understand why Palace did do little in the window.

They failed both windows to replace Wissaka.

Have limited forward options but just did one in, one out. And Tosun is injured I think.

Bit negligent in their part.

Keep Zaha under wraps and I think we have a chance.

We have a few wildcard options in the forwards now too.

Ayew dangerous and Milevojevic is back I think. Zaha a threat but they usually have a good half hour of being terrible and a good half hour of being brilliant so it'll all be in our reactions to both.

Henderson
Basham - Egan - JOC
Baldock - Besic - Norwood - Fleck - Stevens
McBurnie - Sharp

Completely agree with this starting XI

My Subs:
Berge
Freeman
Mousset
Lundstrum
Retsos
Jagielka
Verrips

Which leaves the folliwing out:
McGoldrick
Osborn
Robinson
Rodwell
Zivkovic
Etc

It's gonna be a strong bench whatever Wilder goes for that's for sure! UTB

According to a someone on here, the rumour is that Berge starts, which is a strange one.

After the week we had off the field, wouldn’t be a huge bummer if we lost today, I am 66 years old, and I have been like a young kid since Mid week, with all the excitement of the signing, my wife had been going crazy at me.........
