What happens if Man City gets banned then man united finish In the top 4 and win the Europa league?
Usually winning the Europa means you get automatic CL entry and the next team in the table gets CL ?
Could 6th get CL football ?

7th gets you Europe. Potentially 8th too. Let's just focus on that.
Potentially 9th aswell gets you Europe if manure win the Europa ? Which is crazy .
Not seen anything at all about this possibility?

If the Europa League winner also qualifies via league position, there is no extra CL place for that country (likewise for the CL itself).

Assuming Man City's ban is upheld, 5th will be CL.

If 5 teams get into UCL, only 2 will be in EL (as I understand it)

Man City won the Cariboo cup.so an extra place there.and another if they get correctly banned.8th could qualify.

"The maximum number of English teams in UEFA competitions is seven."

So it could potentially go down to 9th place if Man United or Wolves win the Europa whichI would say is likely.
So if Man City get banned and this happens 9th would get the last position for the Europa league which is crazy

That's eight teams.

Win today we’re 1 point of 6th why should I forget it ?
Wolves, Chelsea and Leicester to play. Three teams with better players and bigger squads to pick from and all to play for, sadly all three have Europe to play for.

We're capable of beating pretty much anyone on our day, which we've just shown 3-1 against spurs.

Wouldn't say it was going to be easy but not really a point in abandoning hope in football you'd be very disappointed year round most years.

I would never abandon hope with these lads but can't see any of them playing as poorly as Spurs.

Then it's in our hands ;)

Gently .... no matter who wins what only 7 PL teams qualify for UEFA Competitions. Even if the Manchester City ban is upheld, you have to finish in the Top 8 to have any chance of qualifying for Europe. No matter who wins what 9th, 10th, lower isn't enough for us.

And 1 nil vs Wolves

What if eighth place qualifies but turns it down because they reckon it's bad to be in Europe?
